Originally launched in the late 60s, the Zodiac Sea-Chron was introduced as an evolution of the iconic Sea Wolf design. Today’s reissue features a 20-minute elapsed timing bezel and added chronograph function with a tachymeter inscribed around the edge of the dial, bringing an entirely new level of engagement, durability and utility to the newly minted Chronograph platform. Whether you’re a sportsman, engineer, technician, physician, or in the military, the Zodiac Sea-Chron is the perfect watch for anyone who works or plays in the three dimensions of time, speed, and distance.

The Zodiac Sea-Chron is visually distinguished by its three sub-dials and two pushers, which start and stop the chronograph function without interfering with the watch’s basic time-telling functionality. The three hands on a chronograph sub-dial measure the time elapsed in seconds, minutes, and hours respectively.

This limited-run timepiece also features Super-LumiNova hands and markers for unparalleled visibility and is complemented by Zodiac’s newest iteration of the classic 5-link stainless steel bracelet.

I would say that it's quite a lot of money for a Fossil Group bought formally Swiss brand, with a not so great movement.
The pin and collar bracelet will prove challenging to resize for your wrist.
All that said, it's a good looking chrono if that's what you're after.

The guys that make lucky bag prize quality moon swatches make glashutte original so the holding company doesn't mean anything. The movement is one of the best mid level chronos around. It's the uprated one with the longer power reserve. Mine is very accurate.

That’s a lot of cash for an unbranded warch (edited)

Assume you actually mean you've never heard of them

I got this watch last year when it first went on sale and it's an absolute bargain at this price. Finishing and build wuality is excellent and I doubt you'd find this movement any cheaper. Zodiac as a brand are pretty cool as well if you look into the history of them. I know technically they died and were resurrected by fossil group but still cool.

Loads of resurrected brands; Doxa, Vertex, Zodiac, Universal Geneve (we shall see), Smiths, Stowa, Laco, Nivada Grenchen, then my mind goes blank... still very cool.

I love my Zodiac Super Sea Wolf, its one of my favourite watches. This is even nicer though! Not to be on this occasion though..

Hot. Excellent value for a quality automatic chronograph. The Sellita SW510 movement is based on the Valjoux 7750 design which has been around since the 70s and is completely bombproof.

Serviceable by an independent watchmaker at much lower cost than a watch with an in-house or ETA movement.

Worth bearing in mind that it's pretty large with a lug-to-lug measurement of over 50mm.

Bought a Super Sea Wolf when there was that crazy £600 deal on them a while ago.

Bought it to flip but haven't got round to it yet. Waiting for the cheap ones on eBay to all sell before putting mine up!

Really beautiful summer watch with the blue and white ceramic bezel. Loathe to sell it but the money would be more useful to me.

£1250 is an awkward price point really, certainly wouldn't pay double for this. I'd probably shop around for something used at this price.
