    Forget VRAM. The 3070 competed with the 2080 Ti in performance, while the 4070 can't even beat the 3080. This whole generation is garbo.

    Watch the usual suspects pretend Ngreedia's plans for 16/24GB versions of the 4060TI and 4070 haven't leaked. Summer is seeing the pre-super variants of Nvidia 4000 cards launch with decent amounts of VRAM.

    Buying a 12GB 4070 today is like buying a 3GB 1060 back in the day, and back in the day the usual suspects told you 3GB was plenty.

    We all know a 4060ti 16gb is coming in July. As for a 16/24gb 4070 that is a rumour not a leak.

    my benchmark is getting 4k 120 fps CP2077, RDR 2.... I think 4090/7900xtx comes close, but i think a generation should do it.....

    Hopefully these cards become mid tier next gen, but if not, help us!!

    I think its just the gpu market at the moment and people overpaid during covid so want a amazing deal before an upgrade, also the vram debate is front page atm.
