Which model ps2 do you have, and do you own and use other retro systems?

You can get individual adapters for most retro computers and consoles, some better than others. There are also a few converters and upscalers you can use. That accept the original cable and signal and upscale it out output in HDMI.

Have a look at this for some more info - RetroRGB - retrorgb.com/ups…tml

Don't some of these adapters only work one way?

    What adapter did you buy?

I grabbed one of the cheapie PS2 to HDMI convertor, it seemed to work fine but it has to be USB powered which means an extra wire round to the front of the PS2. Apart from that it just worked. I can't say it's the best quality (I don't think it has any upscaling processing at all) but it works fine.

Buy converter cables and a HDMI adapter for PS2 and you should be good to go! AV cables via HDMI don't look good on modern TVs. If you want to play PS1 games, you have to download an extra application to FreeMcBoot/OPL in order to ensure it plays past 480p resolution
