Hi everyone, currently using Brita water jug and would like to take an under sink water filter for drinking water any recommendations please? I had a brief look on Amazon and there are so many options not sure what to select. Budget is around 200 £ hope this good enough or I can stretch my budget up to 500£. Thanks in advance

You can get a basic filter setup that uses 10" cartridges. Best you include any filters in your calculations.
I have a cartridge system for the home from Screwfix that costs about £10 per cartridge every 6 months. It doesn't soften water, just removes the crap.
For the figures that you are quoting, are you looking at a water softener.
You could look at the Virgin Pure system that uses UV lighting and heavy marketing. It is wired in and hard plumbed. Yes the water tastes better, but you need to be serious about your water for the price you are looking at

Have a look. Several to choose from.

I use Aquapure filter. It’s brilliant and the refillable filter are reasonable too. They last theee months each one.
