I've recently change phone from the Huawei P30 to Samsung S23
On the P30 when I enter the HUKD app my show page was hottest, which is fine I've managed to set that here but I always come back to where I left off, it doesn't auto refresh. So if I scrole through the page now to hot deals 10 hours ago, then leave and come back in 8 hours, the app opens 18 hours down, so I have to scroll all the way to the top and manually refresh. I'm sure there was an option in the app on the P30 but can't find it now on the s23

what do you have set as your default view at launch page on the app?
also check your device Data Saver > Data Usage setting and see if background data refresh was enabled on your older device, but disabled on your new possibly.
Also try closing the app and then clearing app cache data and checking you have the latest version of the app installed
