Personally, I'm inclined to buy the Ultimate Edition for £5.99 for the quite nice Gods and Demons shaders, as the rest of the DLC that makes it into the Legendary edition can be purchased as DLC or in-game ... Darkseid character DLC - £4.99 Bruce Wayne premiere skin - purchase with in-game source crystals currency (if you really want it, but having seen it on YouTube it doesn't look worth it).
Netherrealm seem to do this quite a bit with their games (perfect example being mortal Kombat). They have about 7 different editions, pre order bonuses and season passes while not really explaining what you get in what edition.
Yes all sounds a bit complicated, I got a notification that character level was increased to 30 and I seem to have all the characters bar two, even have the reverse flash skin etc. Confusing!
It does for everyone apparently. All owners of Injustice 2 standard/ultimate/legendary editions will see the game referred to as 'Legendary edition' and according to the official blurb, get these features ... - The introduction of the Learn Hub, the game’s expanded tutorial - New Gear items for all characters - The character level cap increase to 30 - A new Augment Slot available at level 30 Only people who bought ultimate and legendary editions get the extra DLC characters/skins/shaders though. Those clowns at Warner Bros don't make things simple - it shouldn't require a case study to work out which version of a game you want to buy, but they've made it so complicated it needs exactly that.
Strangely though I bought the ultimate edition key but when the game launches it says legendary edition??
