    Specifications are not everything. The Aspire 3 is the lowest of the Acer range. The chassis quality is as poor as the HP 15s. You can get an Aspire 5 in this budget, which is already much, much better.

    Could anyone be kind enough to let me know if the Acer Aspire 3 A315-44P Laptop - AMD Ryzen 5 5500U, 16GB, 512GB SSD, Integrated Graphics, 15.6-inch FHD, Windows 11, Silver curently £449 , is a better one then this and a good price, I am a bit clueless on what to get I currently have an HP Pavillion Laptop which is on it's way out, I don't do gaming or streaming mainly browsing and Media and Photo storage thank you

    I'm not a laptop expert, but I've ordered this one after researching for laptops around £400, it is is an Aspire 3 A315-44P too, and this CPU AMD Ryzen 7 5700U (8 cores) is a slightly higher spec than the AMD Ryzen 5 5500U (6 cores).

    5700U is a decent processor. Better than the 7520U which pops up in similar laptops.

    Vivobook has a slower CPU, less RAM, and less storage but a better screen.

    I'd go for this one personally.
