Ips screen unlike the Samsung book pro which has an old screen, just in case someone didn't know.

I paid 950 for the 1360p with 17 inch screen. Now I will say it is a good laptop BUT I only bought this laptop for the claimed battery life of like 14-20hrs or something daft. Well I can tell you now I don't get anywhere near that, 7-8 hours max with very basic use. Wasn't happy at all false advertising bs.

It depends on what you do on your laptop. My tablet is advertised as 5 hours. However, I can watch YouTube for 7 hours on it. And when I do something else, it may last 4 hours. It also depends on the settings. Quite often, the advertised hours are at 50% brightness, with Bluetooth off and so on. None of the manufacturers will advertise a battery at max specs, as this will reduce the sales. 7-8 hours is good, but I appreciated it is nowhere near the advantage specs. My Zenbook is advertised as 10h, and it barely lasts 3-4h. (edited)

This is an amazing price for a Gram, easily the best lightweight 15 inch + laptop.

I've had a 10th gen 16 inch Gram and I could not believe that it only weighed around 1kg.

    My hp envy13 weighs more.

If anyone has the budget and wants a premium large screen laptop with real world portability, this is the one. The Grams can't be beaten in my opinion.

Plus Costco service and guarantee is excellent.

Lol wish I needed it. (edited)

Voted hot! I always wanted one, but it was out of my league. Years later, I still believe this is the most premium uktrabook.

Voted hot, but be careful of these CPU's.

They can run hot and be fairly inefficient. YMMV of course.

Great all round package though, especially the ridiculously low weight for screen size! (edited)

Wow is this better than the recent Samsung book 4 pro or Dell 2 in 1 deal? I got the Samsung yesterday but will send it back if this is a better deal

Not that I have ever tried this - but can't you order one of each, compare the two and send back the one that you like least?

I don't think that it's possible, generally, to say "which one is better" - as tastes and preferences vary so widely. You may or may not value every gram saved. Battery run time may/may not be of concern. How beautiful the thing looks may not matter. The feel of the keyboard. The touch pad experience. Raw processing power and whether it is sustained, or soon throttles back. The best processor, with poor heat management, can end up way down the list.

I really am looking for a laptop with a hard shell case designed to protect it. So it can be ultralightweight and fragile AND be good to travel in the boot amongst the tool boxes or on the boat in rough weather. I don't think this one would survive very long, the life that I would give it.

Anyone own this laptop? I'd be interested in their thoughts, some comments about trackpad and keyboard issues on the Costco reviews.

Perhaps you should go on youtube, reddits, ect... do your research, then make a purchase decision for your needs

    Never seen lg laptop before

LG Gram was launched years ago. At some point, it was the slimmest and most compact laptop. There are some similar now, but if you wanted a lightweight, very portable laptop, LG Gram was your only option years ago. It is a good laptop and often expensive, mostly because of its form factor and premium look/build. (edited)

Does anyone know, can you expand storage (either replace m.2 or second slot) same for RAM? (edited)
    TechFiend's avatar
    RAM = soldered, not upgradeable
    2 m.2 slots = so 1 free
