Ok so I called fossil up and they couldn't access my order at the time but said I'll get an update via email. This was a couple of days ago. I've just received an email saying it's not actually cancelled and will be delivered next week. UPS tracking number shows it has been shipped from Germany.
Mines cancelled too? Was it because of code stacking?
Mine hasn’t been cancelled, but was supposedly dispatched five days ago, with no updates since. Really annoying as it was a present for my wife’s birthday on Friday.
I just ordered one wallet and its just been cancelled (mad)
Great deal for those that managed to grab one, thanks for posting @Hamzah_KhanD0N (highfive)
Yeah the Huawei is going to be perfect for some people. It's a great watch especially at the price it's been selling at lately. I had an Amazfit GTS2 before my WearOS watch and even that did almost everything I needed. These watches where you can't sideload apps tend to be well made, have good battery life and generally pretty mature products. I looked at the Huawei and nearly bought it, but I already sold my 45mm Seamaster as it was way too big for my wrists so 46mm was never going to work for me. I moved over to wearos because some of the benefits were worthwhile for my use case. My Oppo Watch really is lipstick on a pig, they've done everything to make it a bearable experience - it syncs their own app to Google Fit and Strava, you can listen to Spotify offline and through the watch if you like, can make and take calls through the watch, the sensors are good, nfc works perfectly, battery life is good by wearos standards (36 hours), it charges quickly...and that's kind of about it. There's no audible, no youtube music, no 1password, Google maps only recently became usable, Google assistant hasn't worked in ages, updates have been frequent recently but with no real tangible improvements, and suddenly Google announce WearOS 3 is coming but only on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 (until mid 2022) and whilst it could run on the Snapdragon processors on many of the wearos watches on the market, not to expect it. Already users are reporting Google Assistant isn't working and Google Pay isn't available. Amazing! The frustrating thing is a lot of these WearOS watches were sold with outdated technology on them, because Google did nothing with the platform for so long (it's based on Android 9), so there was no need to run powerful processors. I feel for people who paid for Fossil Gen 5 watches or even Mont Blanc, and now have paperweights. Way to go Google, how to alienate your entire current customer base. So yeah, whilst this is a good price, avoid all wearos watches like the plague, regardless of how tempting they may be....it's dead money.
Had one for a while and yes, the battery life is awful, sometimes lasting a day, sometimes just dies halfway during the day - weird. Also a little bit laggy. I paid over £180 at the time and seriously, I was ripped off. I like Wear OS as sometimes my watch is on, sometimes off and it nicely syncs the steps automatically with phone steps and Google Fit (bought the Amazfit 5 as a quick fix and the steps on the band always over wrote my phone steps, so it didn't work for me). So, I would avoid this but I would recommend Wear OS. Just get a decent watch and pay the money (I'm afraid)
I have this watch, don't buy it, it's ultimately not worth it. If it worked as intended all the time, I'd say this is great. Sadly, most of the time it just doesn't. I can't get workouts to work on mine anymore at all. Setup is a real pain too, I had to restart mine at least 5 times during the process just to get it to sync with my phone. When it does work its unbelievably slow (even when I bought it a couple of years ago) . I hear new versions of wear os are a bit better, but I think this device is too old to get them. This price is definitely to clear stock of outdated hardware.
Owned both the Huawei is far better in my opinion, battery life on this is barely a day, if you actually use the smart features it's less than a day. Other than payments and writing messages on the watch couldn't honestly tell you what this does that the Huawei doesn't.

Thanks! I didn't noticed this is different than 5, I didn't even know there is a 5E. I will have a look what makes this better. I do agree is better to wait for Wear 3.0, the only thing is we don't know how expensive the 6 will be. Quite often they come with stupid prices at the beginning, but the price gradually drops. I usually go with older models to get a better price, but in this case, Wear 3.0 should make the difference. I have small wrists and in normal circumstances I would not go with a Garrett, as it looks quite big, at least on paper. I like the Carlyle more, but I ended up with a Garrett at Christmas. I did purchased a Skagen Falster 3 for myself, which was smaller, probably better for my wrists. However, the Garrett grew on me, I like the design, the size does not look out of the place, so I sent the Skagen back and kept the Garrett. Sadly, I didn't have the chance to make much use of it, due to lockdown.
This is the 5E model which has a slightly smaller display and a few other blows over the 5. I've only watched a few reviews comparing both, for the current prices I'd say the 5 is probably worth the extra cash. Although I'm tempted, the 6 is around the corner and will have Wear 3.0. That'll probably mean the price of these will drop further or remain so will hold out for the 6
Yeah I believe they're saying only Snapdragon 4100 and above will get it
Voted hot, gen 5 at £118 is a realistic price! Keep an eye on Skagen too, their watches are Fossil too, but different form factor. Skagen Faster 3 is a good one and equivalent to Fossil gen 5, better for small wrists. Skagen comes on sale as well 1-2 days after Fossil sale.

If this is like any of the Skagen/Fossil watches I have had it will be a total waste for step counting. Seems algorithm is totally messed up by Fossil and not something they are bothered about fixing.
The battery drain weird.. I left home one evening and by 10 its done And Ive got decent tech knowledge I've tweaked settings to make efficient use of battery But the watch looks great and the features are awesome too
I believe gen 6 fossil , new Motorola and Samsung watch will be using the newish Snapdragon 4100 soc
Until Google and makers sort Wear OS out I wouldn't touch this with a barge pole. If you use it for fitness you'll be charging it 2-3 times a day like I did with my Gen 5 Carlyle. You also get massive battery drains for no reason which caused me to sleep in when using it as an alarm on a few occasions. It was always fully charged before I went to bed. Apart from Ticwatch why are no other makers using the 4100 or 4100+ chip? Until they do Wear OS is dead in the water.
My comment was just in general. Didn't help that I quoted your quote.. Lol

Fossil on Social Media
Jewellery and smart technology are always changing, and Fossil strives to keep its fanbase completely up to date about new designs and innovative products. To stay in the loop, be sure to bookmark the news room at Fossil Group for regular updates, sign up for the Fossil newsletter, or follow the retailer at its many social media channels. Here's where to find them:
Founded in Texas in 1984, Fossil has become one of the world's great jewellery and watch brands. Specialising in stylish looks and durable steel construction, the brand's watches are particularly famous, but there's much more to Fossil than timepieces. From necklaces to wallets, it's a go-to accessories merchant across the board.
The Fossil Product Range
Fossil started out as a watch manufacturer, and that's still a core part of how the brand operates. But the modern-day company ranges much wider, offering a huge array of accessories, including some of the best options for personalised gifts to be found anywhere. Let's help you choose by running through the Fossil product range.
The men's watches available at Fossil include traditional mechanical watches, leather-strapped designs for a professional look, ultra-minimalist designs, and rugged stainless steel watches that will stand the test of time. Pure smartwatches and hybrid designs are also a key part of the range, adding a host of new functions for fitness fans and those with hectic schedules.
The same applies for women's watches, where the selection ranges from purely traditional designs to the latest examples of smart innovation. Key categories here include Fossil's ever-popular collection of rose gold tone watches, as well as plenty of boyfriend watches which fuse the worlds of men's and women's timepieces.
Smartwatches deserve their own section as Fossil, as it's an area where the brand has started to excel in recent years. Models like the Gen 5 come with Android and iPhone compatibility via the Hybrid App, offering quick processors, comfortable fits, clear displays, and the option of adding all kinds of fitness apps to enhance your exercise routines.
Alongside watches, jewellery has long been a mainstay of the Fossil range, which is famous both for its high quality and affordability. Explore necklaces, earrings, bracelets, charms and chains, with sterling silver designs and a constant stream of new arrivals to customise your looks for every season.
Fossil's wallets cover pretty much every style, shape and size. Take a look at elegant bi-fold designs, wallets designed with RFID protection in mind, card cases, front pocket wallets, premium executive wallets, and embossed designs that are completely personalised. Choose fold-out or zipped styles, or opt for a mix of handbags and wallets with the Fossil wristlet collection.
The label's bags collection is just as comprehensive as its range of wallets. Whether you need satchels, shoulder bags, tote bags, handbags, clutches, crossbody bags, backpacks, work bags or travel bags, there are plenty of designs to choose from. And as with all other Fossil products, personalisation is usually an option as well.
Fossil offers a small but appealing collection of retro-inspired sunglasses like Camden, Morrison and Weldon, which provide excellent UV protection and a dash of style for holidays and summer socialising.
Gifting is a core aspect of Fossil's appeal, so it's unsurprising to find a special gifts section at the online store. This is the place to find gifts for him or her, with watches and accessories grouped into handy price tiers. So if you need to find a gift for your partner under £50 or £100, that should be easy to arrange.
A sub-category of Fossil's gifts selection features some of the most attractive presents of all. Watches and jewellery alike can be engraved with unique messages, turning what are already appealing items into timeless tokens of affection. Items can be engraved in-store and collected or sent via post – but normal returns policies won't apply. So make sure you choose the right text.
Fossil Sales and Deals
Fossil has a deserved reputation for quality, but that doesn't mean that the prices are over the top. Actually, there are many ways to save on watches and other products. For starters, be sure to check out the Fossil Outlet, which regularly delivers discounts of 50-70%. There are seasonal Fossil sale drives around events like Black Friday and Christmas, and Fossil offers tend to cover pretty much every category. If you aren't shopping during a sales period, don't worry. Fossil deals can be found at the hotukdeals listings throughout the year, providing big savings on smartwatches, engravings, jewellery and more.
