Agreed and the cut was much better too, tapering at the waist to give you shape. I still have a couple of old Gap tops (yes they lasted well) back when they classed me as a size 'S'. Now I'm 'XXS' thanks to vanity sizing. Gap really need to step up. How have they not gone under?
I find Gaps 'normal' prices ridiculous for the quality of clothes they now sell. Back ten or so years ago the quality of the material was very good, colours didnt fade, the clothes lasted ages and even after a ton of washes looked good as new... not anymore. No different to George / F&f / Primark etc. Only ever worth it in the sale with an extra x amount off...
