@neilied - I use an app called glasseson, on my mobile and with a magnetic card it measures the PD. I would run it a few times just to get an accurate reading but for me it has worked quite well and accurate and should be fine if you are going for single vision lenses. For more complex prescriptions I would go to your optician and ask for it to be on safe side.
Ordered a pair of rayban frames with transition lenses and platinum lens upgrade for less than £130. Not bad! Cheers OP!
I received my order from the cheaper deal posted recently, the prescription clearly wrong….nowhere near what I need. Sent them back and awaiting a reply but not holding my breath
There's a card method, some online tools out there, just need to Google it.
I've been trying to use the code for two designer pairs (both more than £69, and both in the 'get free pair' range) but even with the code and no basic packages it's coming up with total of £91. What am I doing wrong?
I got 2 pairs for £14 and half price on silver package on my order without any problems. Total £28. Using only one code HUKDGDBIGNOV. With gold package should be £43.
It seems that you can only use either the buy one get one free £14 off OR 50 percent off the lens packages.. am I right that you can't use both codes at same time? So my 2 glasses are coming up as £70 with ( Gold package ) discount
Thanks. Bought one now. Cheers
Hi it's still working, if you want a price of £14 delivered you need to select to continue with free lenses rather than the upgrade to bronze silver or gold packages
Thanks. Ordered at £54 for 2 incl. cheap lenses. Seems like a good deal if you have a simple prescription ie lenses packages is where they make the money. £25 eye test at Tesco (vison express) but remember to ask for PD (pupil distance). Not essential though, ive been measuring my own for years.
Have you tried this?
Had an eye test at Tesco last month, was £15. Had two sets of 'try at home' rims to test which is free. Bought two pair of rimless for £62, Tesco wanted £169 a pair. They were good quality so bought a further two pairs, sunglasses and rimless with reaction lenses. Only thing to avoid is their transition xtractive lenses, didn't work well in a car, but go quite dark outdoors in the sunlight. Also avoid paying for thin lenses if going rimless, thicker lens is stronger. Anti-refection is worth paying extra for. Their discount codes chop and change all the time. Current offer is good if you want reaction lenses. Also go via topcachback. Even if they don't last long, I could buy 5 pairs for the price of one at Tesco.
Have Anyone tried the anti blue-light lenses? Are they of good quality?

Two Pairs of Glasses for £14 / 2 Designer Glasses £24 with code @ Glasses Direct£14
I agree with you about designer glasses. They cost a couple of pounds or so to manufacture and are overpriced everywhere. The fact remains though that two pairs of perfectly good glasses, complete with prescription lenses, is a real bargain. I very much doubt there’s a deal on the market to match it.
Poundland only sell reading glasses
If you want the cheapest go to Poundland. If you want RayBan it is £49.99: https://www.tkmaxx.com/uk/en/women/accessories/glasses/brown-havana-glasses-frames/p/13198514. My point is designer glasses are severely overpriced at Glasses Direct.
The very cheapest frame at Specsavers is £19. The cheapest 'designer' frame is £99. This is two pairs for £14, including lenses. I think you must be missing something.
Am I missing something? You are better off getting RayBan's with 50% off and lenses from specsavers. All the designers brands are really cheap and I don't need a second pair.

Exclusive2 Pairs of Prescription Glasses + Free Dark Tints from just £28.45 delivered @ Glasses Direct£28.45
Thanks… just had eyes tested yesterday and needed some more glasses. Always love it when it doesn’t break the budget
Ordered cheers (y)
Hi @1bundy1 have you used the discount code in the OP? If you look at the image below you can see it does look like a charge is being added, but it's then taken off the total price, so just double check the total :)
I can't see how to get the dark tint for free, its trying to charge me an extra tenner

Exclusive2 Pairs of Prescription Glasses from just £28.45 delivered + Free Dark Tints to get Prescription Sunglasses @ Glasses Direct£28.45
Received my sunglasses today, really impressed with the quality for the price!
Haha XD What a joke though. Surely you're entitled to get that information.
They said they are not required to! and that it is down to the dispenser to get that info, even though they took it, and I was trying my best to read the small upside down receipt print out with all the info after having the test the lady had on her desk...without glasses! Oh the irony :) ...It's basically so you buy the glasses from them rather then online retailers.
Any reason why they wouldn't give it to you?
Lol - the left lens was miles out and was immediately picked up on a retest, so blaming the customer is a stretch to say the least! They didn’t blame the customer, not sure why you are.
