About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
New gift card offer that went live today. Very rare to get any kind of decent discount on John Lewis & Waitrose or Currys gift cards so 12.5% is very decent. Given these companies usually price match competitor offers this is a very good bonus on top.
Deal as follows:
- Morrisons are offering 5000 More points instore on £50 denomination gift cards for John Lewis (which includes Waitrose), Currys, and M&S. You will also get 1250 base points. Please note it needs to be on the £50 denomination gift cards.
- So 6250 points in total for a £50 john Lewis + Waitrose/Currys/M&S gift card, equivalent of 12.5% return on spend.
- Maximum points earn in a calendar month is 100,000 points (worth £100). If you purchased £800 John Lewis/Waitrose gift cards in £50 denominations you would get £100 Morrison's vouchers. If you purchase £200 John Lewis gift cards in £50 denominations you would get £25 of Morrisons vouchers.
- Once you have 5000 points you can redeem for a £5 voucher to use in Morrisons. Plenty of deals to use at Morrisons
p.s. when you buy the gift cards check your receipt. If the points do not show in 'Total More Points earned today' go to customer service and get them to manually add the points.

short version - buy £50 John Lewis/Currys/M&S gift cards at morrisons instore and get Morrisons vouchers
Couldnt see any terms at all in store. The point of sale does say Fathers day so assume will at least be until 18th June.
Just checked my Morrisons more card account and the 12,500 points are showing from the purchase of the 2 x 50 John Lewis gift card purchases earlier

Yes there is point of sale material, although assume some stores may not have put it up yet given the offer went live today.
Went live today!! Hmmm... What a time to be alive
thats right - effectively £6.25 of Morrisons points for £50 gift card spend.
Here's the instore sign promoting the offer, no visible terms i could see around offer ends date

p.s. worth checking you're receipt - should receive 6250 points per £50 gift card which shows on the bottom of the receipt, if it doesn't show go to customer service and they will manually add on
If however I was to buy a item for £300 I would have only been able to use £150 and the rest would have had to been payed by cash. Hope this makes sense and saves someone a lot of hassle
haha omg i get it now LOL. definitely a good deal. thanks mate
2 years, thanks
It did previously when there was a similar deal on Amazon last year. I tried to put 2 x £50 John Lewis gift cards through self scan tonight at the same time but it restricted it so had to pay in two transactions. Probably better going to a checkout with a person.
the ones i got yesterday are
yes, would be fine to part pay using gift card and credit/debit card
You can get the receipt and get the points back when you get card. I did this last time. Tbh it was a tough time convincing store staff about the bonus points and base points
can be used online or instore
good point - current new account offer - £15 off £100 1st shop, £25 off £100 2nd shop
http://www.waitrose.com/content/waitrose/en/home/groceries/40-off-2-DIG-1.html
So £40 off discount codes and get a further £25 of Morrisons vouchers from buying £200 gift cards (4 x £50 denominations)
Works out at 5625 points (5000 more points and 625 base points), so just short of £6
Can get straight cash discount at Tesco on Google Gift Cards, posted by Morgie

Is it still going?
if online then combine with waitrose money off first order offers and mega savings
I currently have a "5% cashback" offer on my credit card on a single transaction at Morrisons, so will give it a try if they have any cards in stock...
Am I right in think this is effectively £6 back from a £25 voucher? (pretty much 25% off?)
