Went into HMV Reading earlier and found a couple of boxes of clearance DVD's and Blu Rays. Some run of the mill stuff in there that can be found cheaper, but I did manage to find and take pictures of the decent items that appear to be cheaper than Amazon and ebay. Asked a member of staff if it was nationwide and they said it was, so keep your eyes peeled, for those lucky enough to still have a HMV near to you and like buying physical versions of Films and TV series. Unfortunately still no website yet, so these will be instore deals only.

Blu Rays:

-Suits season 7 £6.99
-Dracula complete legacy collection £9.99
-Darkest hour £4.99
-Mamma Mia here we go again £4.99
-Star Trek discovery season 1 £13.99
-Jamestown season 1 £5.99
-The Purge/ The Purge Anarchy £ 3.99

DVD'S

-Dynasty complete series 1-9 boxset £34.99
-J.A.G complete collection boxset £34.99
-Suits 1-7 £18.99
-Laurel and Hardy the feature film collection £14.99
-Incredible hulk (1977 TV series) complete collection £19.99

Pictures below happy hunting. Hope it helps someone.

They have quite a few Blurays reduced to £3.99.

I picked up Twin Peaks Event Series for £14.99!!

See now if HMV charged these sort of prices all the time like the used to in the 90s then they would have not been going out of business! I miss the old 5 for 20 deals

Your points should still be on your account when Pure Points is back up …Your points should still be on your account when Pure Points is back up and running, as they did last time. The manager in my local said it should be fairly soon.

Got an email today - Pure HMV is closing, but they will be launching a new scheme. Any points you had will transfer if you opt in to the new scheme. Also had a survey as to whether you prefer an app or a card for the scheme, and what type of benefits you would like, and what you like about other shops loyalty programmes.

Nothing on there twitter page. Was no sign of anything on HMV's twitter page about these deals. Still could be worth a look. I miss Fopp, they used to be in Reading. Sometimes I make it to the Covent Garden store. Bit better than HMV I think, although the same company. Always good deals to be had.

Can OP change to nationwide? Staff member said it should be on other stores. Thanks

I'm sure they still do - usually 3 for £20 or 5 for £30 on blu-ray, and cheaper pricing on DVD. Once they go out of the charts most titles end up in that type of offer.

When I last asked, the staff also said if you've kept your receipts for purchases in the meantime, you should be able to add them in as well.
