While the P20 was a great phone this seems to be a waste of money in 2021 which no redeeming features, at best probably a phone with 80% max capacity battery.

So a further 1/3 of the price?

People work to budgets and this is a lot of phone for just over 100quid.

    Silly comment.

How much of an upgrade is this from the Samsung S9?

    It isn't really.

You still loving the form factor?Still pretty unrivalled at this spec.

I think it’s better than any of their subsequent designs - it’s got a proper front fingerprint scanner (not a stupid under-screen thing), it’s got a pretty flat screen and it isn’t absolutely massive. The design is also a bit more industrial and timeless with slight edges to it. The P30 Pro already looks more dated. (edited)

Camera on budget phones is average unless you opt for any pixel phones

I just mentioned this in another thread but it's pertinent here - 2 year guarantee on all items at CEX and a 14-day no quibble return policy. If you don't like it, send it back. Have given up on eBay in the last 6 months for electronics and get everything from this lot now. Definitely upped their game in the last 18 months or so.

It is 4000 mAh, and it is waterproof, the decision for me buying it. Awesome phone for its time. No xiaomi phone is water proof in this price range

What extras does the pro offer and at what sorts of price?

Better camera, bigger battery, display is slightly bigger too. An 6gb of ram rather than 4. That's just a few differences. Not sure on price, probably not much more tho

Probably the redmi note 9 pro is the best bet here for about 190 on Amazon.

Great handset , ok camera that’s boosted by a gcam mod

From GSM Arena Li-Po 3650 mAh, non-removable. And possibly holding less charge after a couple of years use. But the single sim kills it for me. I would rather have a user replaceable battery than waterproofness. (edited)
