I got the one below 3.6v does the job. amazon.co.uk/Cor…nVl
Pretty sure is not, I can't see any settings on it.
The Bosch professional (blue) is only 3.6v and has rave reviews for obvious reasons but this should be fine for its intended purpose.
Halfords advanced Ratchet has a lifetime warranty
Else rolson for £4 at Halfords
I’m a big Wera fan but can be expensive, Amazon have a Draper set on offer at the minute which is a good entry set. I always go VDE due to profession but it’s not always needed
Thanks
This is the wera set:-
Wera Kraftform Kompakt VDE 17 Universal 1 Interchangeable screwdriver set with twin handle, 17PC, 05059030001 amazon.co.uk/dp/…M1Q
My personal favourite but as I say all craft dependant as I doubt it would suit mechanics etc
screwfix.com/p/m…6fx
It's not got a chuck so only with hex drill bits and I suspect through anything sturdier than plasterboard it is not going to work. This is a low power screwdriver.
I highly doubt this will have a variable speed at that price. Some of these screwdriver triggers are just on or off so to speak
Well nowhere will have stock until Sunday, then. That's how it usually works.
Website says from Thursday 2/9, and also just noticed so does the post. (edited)
Cheers for the reply mate. I'm alright got a couple 18v drivers and rechargeable pen with decent torque
We all know 40v, 36v, 18v, 12v, 10v tools are superior to this but it all depends on it’s purpose. Horses for courses and this will save wrists over time for certain jobs
Hi they look good but way over my budget I was after a set with quite a small handle that comes with changeable tips on the end with differing screw driver bits,I'm not sure of the actual name of that it's possibly a multi tool
Sounds like your after a multi bit set, with a ratchet handle?
Ryobi RAK59SD Screwdriver Kit (59 Piece) amazon.co.uk/dp/…c=1
Plenty off cheaper versions available aswell
Thanks,that's just the thing
I'm pretty sure some apple usb-c chargers are known to be odd and only output 1 or 2 voltage options for specific Apple devices, instead of being being general usb-c 'power delivery' compatible, including one Apple charger that apparently doesn't allow standard 5v which would probably be the standard for a cheap device like this screwdriver.
Screwfix max torque is 5nm and parkside one is 10nm
Screwfix comes with 3 bits and parkside has 26 bits + 1magnetic bit
Screwfix charger seems to be non usb one (as per the pics) and parkside is USB-C (however my other fast USB charger was not charging the unit)
But.... the variable torque option is tempting.

You are right, it is just on/off, what is slightly annoying is that it has a small light that comes on when you screw, it would it good if it came on before the screwdriver so you can see to locate the screw head. Has a torch on the opposite end as well which has its own on/off switch. Haven’t used it in anger yet but I’m happy enough, especially as I used a metro voucher alongside some other items. (edited)
IKEA has one like it for £8
I assuming is how deep you press the trigger
Apparently coming in stock on Sunday! (edited)
I know, Waitrose don’t do these things I’m out my comfort zone…
My last Parkside one from last year isn't
