    Why ?

Dimly lit neon in a light environment is not ideal, if the polarity is wrong it won't work, if it gets wet it may bridge through the resistor up into your thumb, no good way of checking the neon works. I suppose its better than nothing but any electrician worth thier salt wouldn't use this for safe isolation.

Throw that clear one away, so you are never tempted to use it for dead testing...

Beware of the neon indicator screwdriver. They are not very reliable, there are cases where there can be a significant current but they don't light up. I'd recommend always using a multimeter.

If you do use one them remember it needs a path to ground, so if you are wearing gloves it might not work. In theory that means you won't get shocked either, but in practice it's an unecessary risk.

If a spark needs all these screwdrivers to change a fuse or indeed wire a plug, I'd like to see why

Do like the look of these, but just bought a Wera set for £17 on another deal posted a few days ago.

Good value for a basic set of screwdrivers.
Echo the previous comments, dispose of the neon indicator screrwdriver.

I'm not normally such a snob with regards to Lidl tools.
But on this occasion , I'd definitely spend an extra £7-£10 and get the wera set when on offer .

Anyone know who the OEM is for these? Could well be a company like Wiha or something like that. Absolute steal.

Would be all over this for the price, but comes with Phillips bits instead of the more common and useful Pozidriv. I'd be far less likely to use this set... Ok if you want Phillips.
