You might get it even cheaper with 15% SS.... I only got 10%.
I used the 20% voucher next to the product in my amazon account (not all will have it I guess) and also 10% SS... took price to 22.39 or 8.96/KG. Pretty good in this climate!!!!

Anything under £10/kg for pure whey protein is a great deal. These deals need to be on the highlights page, not myprotein '55% off' but actually their prices are the same as always because they've inflated them to negate any discount codes.

    Good job OP!

    What’s a good flavour

I'm a sucker for the white chocolate! Nice protein pancakes.... take 1 scoop, mix in 1tsp baking powder, 1x egg.... a little water if necessary to make a thick pancake batter.... into the pan for a minute or so each side... nice and fluffy! :-)
    Vanilla works well too! :-)

MyProtein has a much better protein content with a complete amino acid …MyProtein has a much better protein content with a complete amino acid profile. Unfortunately, their prices have gone up ridiculously in the past couple of years, even after their "discounts".Honestly I'm struggling to find any manufacturers with good protein content and reasonable price these days.

£73 for 2.5kg. Almost fell off my chair

Yeah, I see what you mean. At the moment, I'm thinking this Bulk deal is best compromise for me. 77% with the unflavoured, £22.39 for 2.5kg.

Portion sizes are meaningless and just there for the marketing team to manipulate the apparent protein content of a supplement.

For example, maximuscle recommends 2 whole scoops (50g) per portion and the protein content is still only around 20g. This is obviously a much worse deal than either of the two we are talking about, but by looking at protein content per serving it doesn't appear that way. By comparing the products per 100g (or as a percentage - same thing), you can get a standardised benchmark between all products.

How did you get that price? ON is £45 for me

Double Rich Chocolate flavour 2.26kg tub was £45 with 20% voucher available for first subscription then 15% subscribe and save discount on top of that, so 35% off.

Would never use bulk again. Customer service is dreadful and quality of protein isn't great. All personal opinion tho of course

How does it compare to optimum gold standard?

I was wondering the same thing. I always stick with ON Gold Standard - it's a bit more expensive than stuff like this but it mixes really well, tastes good and I'm sure the quality is as good as anything else on the market, and probably better than the vast majority. I've just ordered a 2.26kg tub at the equivalent of £12.94 per kg.

That said, I might take a punt on a 1kg bag of this just to try it. It's only £8.44 for me after 20% voucher plus 15% subscribe and save discount. Whether or not the ON is worth the extra £4.50 per kg - who knows?

Nope. At checkout I have only SS discount even though I checked the 20% voucher. Maybe on cyber Monday I will have more luck.

I get the am fit stuff and bodybuilding warehouse, cheaper and better than bulkpowders and MP who in my opinion are god awful companies.

Based on a 30g serving which I'd say the majority of people are using (about 1 scoop), Bulk has 19.2g protein vs MyProtein's 20.5g so it's hardly significant.

The amino acid profile will be nearly identical since the main ingredient is the same: whey protein. Bulk actually states it has 5g BCAAs per 30g serving whereas MyProtein doesn't actually say.

Bulk's whey is also sourced from grass-fed cows which might matter to some people (it is certainly a 'premium' feature).

And of course, Bulk is significantly cheaper (in this case).

I am not an affiliate by the way just think it's fair to make the above points.

If MyProtein was cheaper per kg then I'd happily buy from them!

Can’t get the 1kg for 9.09 so might be worth trying few flavours for extra few pence (40p approx over 2.5kg)
