sorted byHi, the deals are never meant to offend. It's up to the individual if they want to use etc. Personal opinion is that everything is ok in moderation. Glad you like the other deals. thanks
Bet Christmas is fun for you
On the Friday customise the double, add a sausage and egg to make it a triple with double egg it's an absolute monstrosity I believe we should all experience at least once
That's an awful lot of effort just to get a 2nd cheap burger.
Guess we are a society of excess. (edited)
Make one at home, tell everyone how much it cost. Also factor in your labour time (especially if you want to be clever and make your muffin from scratch, have eggs laid for you, etc) and then consider fact that it will taste half as good inexplicably. Think I’ll stick with Maccy’s offering
Can i have theirs too then? I don't mind smashing 2
1 offer only, so can't do that
It is McMuffin , and it is worth it.
So the government take 20% VAT on hot food, so from that 99p, McDonalds only gets 82.5p.
From that there is the cost of someone to cook it, someone to assemble it and someone to hand it to you.
Then there is the cost of ingrediants, based on Tesco this is roughly:
1 muffin - 15p
1 medium free range egg 15p
1 sasuage 21p
1 slice of processed cheese 9.5p
Total ingrediants to buy from Tesco is 60p
(although you'd have to actually buy packs of 4 muffins, 6 eggs, 8 sausages and 10 cheese slices)
So 60p, plus the electriciity/gas and your time to make it yourself at home. I think 99p is a pretty good deal.
Voucher strips freely available at most WHS (similar to the ones printed every week in The Metro).
One of the vouchers gives any McMuffin and a hot drink for £1.99
Scan at the self-serve kiosk, or redeem at the counter in McDs.
I've been using these for at least the last 2 years.
Actually when you factor in the component parts, plus someone else cooking it for you, when you want it, it is a steal.
Yeah it's weird, I got an email saying double McMuffin for £1.79 which doesn't appear on the app, but as you say, you can add an extra patty to the 99p single for 40p so even better.
In case you miss this one-off single use deal.
if you personally bought and made the products you mentioned then you may indeed have a point. Howeve if you factor in a table in a warm envorinment, someone buying the ingredients and making it for you, then throw in that its bought bought to your table as you sit and wait: then suddenly 99p is kind of mental, don't you think?
Used to love them ages ago when they had a piece of ham on. Now they have a fatty piece of rubber, bacon on that tastes awful
Indeed!
They don't seem to know their own offers, when you compare with the internal McDs bulletin..
Or pay 99p extra to make it two.
Sign up again with a different email address.
Please elaborate
WHSmiths?
Yep, High Street and railway station stores.
Look out whenever you're passing by. They don't always have them, but quite often there's a pile by the self-serve tills. (edited)
I'm excited!
The double Mcmuffin offer isn't until the 17th, as stated above.
Ah okay. That's not what my email says so I was confused. It says 'Both offers are available today, 13th December'.

You could try creating a new account in the app, then it might reappear.
Also, make sure you try before breakfast ends at 11am. (edited)
