About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
If you purchase a Three Pay As You Go SIM through Amazon, it comes preloaded with 12 GB of data that lasts for 30 days, and that data is ready to use in the UK on the Three network and 71 other countries around the world under Three's "Go-Roam" Scheme.
If your current network will charge you to use your data abroad, but reluctant to move operators, this would make an ideal temporary SIM to use abroad in the below countries.
Three has recently introduced for Pay Monthly customers a £2 a day fee to use their existing plan in the EU and £5 a day in the other worldwide "Go Roam" countries. BUT on this PAYG SIM there is no extra fee to use the data abroad in any of the 71 countries and these include:
- European Union countries
- USA
- Australia
- New Zealand
- Indonesia
- Vietnam
- Hong King
- Simgapore
- Sri Lanka
- Israel
- Brazil
- Chile
- Israel
the full list is here
Please be aware the maximum amount of data you can use in a month while roaming abroad is 12GB and hence why I am only suggesting this 12GB SIM. Even if you purchase a SIM with a higher amount of data anything over the 12 GB roaming cap, can only be used in the UK.
You must insert the SIM into your phone and activate at least 24 hours before you leave the UK, to get the inclusive roaming to work.

sorted byOnly on Pay monthly contracts. Currently there isn't any plans to add roaming charges on Pay As You Go Sims.
Only Virgin Mobile and O2 have no plans to reintroduce roaming charges, for the time being
It's £2 per day to roam in Europe and several territories:

It is £5 per day outside of Europe:

Hope that helps
30 days from date of activation
It would appear to be an absolute maximum of two consecutive months (assuming you set up auto re-new after the pre-loaded data runs out after 30 days), then they are at right to disable inclusive roaming on the SIM.
You can download the full T&C PDF document here and look at pages 26-28.
I wouldn't like to say, it could be a gamble.
Three could change their T&Cs by then.
Mannnn they've got me good!
Where is everyone seeing £5 per day? I can only see £2 per day online but your the 3rd person to say £5
Happened to me with the unlimited SIM and Three refused to do anything about it so I sent it back.
Ah ok luckily I tend not to do longer haul travels & stick with EU still adds up though. But Vodafone EE & O2 are all introducing fees as well I think?b
Interesting, never knew this was in place. I spent 3 months in Germany and they never mentioned anything. Maybe they don’t flag it up if you don’t go crazy
I am going to the US in August for 3 weeks and this would be hugely cheaper than any other option. It's whether to take the risk and either they don't change their T&Cs before then or I dont have the issue where others have said there's no data on the sims.
thinking the same for Novemeber 2022
You made a mistake. They are the only big provider that are not reintroducing roaming fees.
It's possible you misread the letter. They were introducing a 25gb cap for data roaming around June last year. Anything above that could be purchased at an additional rate.
I got a text saying they will move me to new sim only Co tract without go roam. Have u not got one?
