Lavazza Crema e Aroma, Arabica and Robusta Medium Roast Coffee Beans, Pack of 1 kg 9.99 @ Lidl Torquay

I’ve bought lots of fresh roasted coffee from local roaster to bigger roasters like pact and rave .

But keep going back a place called Grindhouse .
Quality for cost ratio is the best I’ve tried .

I went for this 4x1kg pack to try their different blends

However I now just order reunion and santos as they are perfect for me personally



But as far fresh v supermarket , there is a huge huge difference. Definitely worth paying a bit more .

I noticed this morning that Tesco had a new shelf for small producer coffees. They also had 1kg of Taylor's beans for £10 as well as an unknown brand (to me) for £8.50 (I think).

You can buy fresh roasted beans for a few £ more . Soo soo much better than any stale supermarket bean .

Double shot is ~18g

Therefore 1kg=55 double shots (if you have double shots each)

So about 2 weeks by my calculations!

Or 4 if you just pull single shots (edited)

Picked some up this morning after seeing this deal and ran it through my machine. Makes a very nice coffee (only done cappuccino) a step up from the LIDL beans I was using previously that were supposed to be decent.
The rest of the beans are in to a large kilner jar to keep fresh. May pick up some more later in the week if they have any left.

Appears to be a good deal, £15 on Amazon. Lavazza is a good brand
