sorted byI jumped on the ryobi 16g at 170 and at the weekend it drove 65mm brads through 70mm of wood without blinking, it has solid reviews but it is quite a bit more money
Worx, wickes, baulker, ferrex, workzone and a few others work on this.anything that's positec really.
(edited)
Wish Aldi would stick to one form factor
Yeah right! (edited)
No, I don't think they are. I've emailed them, apparently it'll back in stock in May.
Yes your right but they really should state the staple/nail sizes so your not left saying
"it surely can't be far off 60mm I hope, great price"
a must for diy and trade alik
Then take it back. Its got a 3 year warranty. Can't find the receipt? If you bought it on a credit card and remember the date/store, call customer services and they will find the transaction.
The other more usual cause of problems like this is using the wrong nail/staple.
The battery is the same as my blueridge battery (from my cordless strimmer, i think same as older worx batteries) although my newer worx battery although seemingly the same battery has slightly different plastic tabs so doesn't slide onto this.
Anyway battery last more than i could use in a day anyway and the charger is faster than old blueridge one (1.5amp vs 400ma).
Is around 60mm the usual for a finish nailer?
It surely can't be far off that I hope.
Great price imo.
Fire rate is really good.
Battery life is excellent.
What's the max nail size please?
Same here! I've got a few 20/40v tools.
I've emailed them about the batteries and apparently they'll be back in stock in May.
Thoughts on using this to attach feather edge cladding to a shed/storage box, and for attaching architrave round doors?
Exactly the same happened to me and to many others apparently!!
I was wondering if they are about to drop the 20/40V range. Haven't seen any batteries available for a while now.
Got a few of those tools for beaters/gardening/infrequent jobs to my main system but they are proving pretty good. (edited)
Yeah i've got an impact driver, was fantastic when I was building a Mud Kitchen for the kids, Angle grinder, polisher. Shame if the dropped them completely
To right I would.
Yes be fine would probably use stainless steel 18g nails though
Ive had two both been pretty good. Just need to make sure your battery has enough charge and you're using good nails. The ones that come with it aren't the best (edited)
I agree mine has had a lot of use (over 2000 50mm brads) and has been great. Occasionally jams but always easy to un jam and straight back to work.
Might be QC issues with cheaper tools
Ryobi is far better
The ryobi looks to be close to double the price for tool only though. Is it that much better? What are the reasons?
