VERSIONS TO READ (I think it's in Ukrainian language)

Regarding the situation in Ukraine, we are providing a free data code to ensure those affected by censorship the means to communicate. Because of the severity of the invasion and the lives at risk we are moving resources to keep channels clear.

There is also a staggering amount of Russian disinformation polluting online discussion.

Many of those affected are essentially isolated and do not know the true scale of what is at stake.

By using the following code “PEACE” you can get 30GB applied to your account.

The reason we are not providing unlimited data is because we must make sure our infrastructure will be available at all times. We don’t care about “misuse” but we cannot allow for people who aren't affected to detract from those that are.

Share this with your friends or family who are in Ukraine or Russia.

Many of us have times for jokes and memes in the future. We are blessed in that regard. Think about those who do not have that luxury.

Relevant tweets with information. Please share these with those you personally know who are affected:

Windscribe have done this before, and it had been exploited by people, not in Ukraine etc, who just want a freebie.

Obviously nothing stops you from taking advantage of this. But please consider if your need is equivalent to that of people in Ukraine who are being invaded/liberated.

Blog says "There is also a staggering amount of Russian disinformation polluting online discussion." Don't get me wrong, but how being on VPN removes disinformation? You still use the same online media, isn't it?

If you search BBC news for example whilst on a Russian IP, you will get nowhere as it will be blocked. If you use a UK based VPN, you will be able to see what the BBC news are reporting in the UK from Russia. (edited)

PEACE is rightly meant for people in Ukraine. Shall I use it here? Difficult!EDIT : Cannot be applied to those with existing accounts who have 50gb free allowance from before as this will reduce the data allowance and quite rightly if I may add.

Yeah, leave the servers free for those who really need it...

Used to have 50gb free from them, then they dropped it to 10gb, so 30gb is better than nothing

They used to do regular codes to upgrade permanently from 10GB to 50GB, and occassionally to 60GB per month back in 2017/2018, such as this deal: hotukdeals.com/dea…535

Shame they don't seem to run those any more. I didn't think they ever downgraded people from these deals though, or have I misunderstood that you are saying in general they used to give 50GB free then lowered to 10GB rather than as I interpreted it that your account was 50GB but got downgraded?
