This will be useless in anything other than warm weather. The 2000HH means it’ll stand up to a light rain, anything more and it’ll be start coming in turning everything wet.

    Fair weather camping only.

Doesn't look like it has a ground sheet fitted.

I saw it earlier today in my local Costco. It's got an integrated groundsheet. Which for me is a bit of a pain for such a large tent, as it means the whole inside is a no boot zone. I much prefer being able to fold up part of the groundsheet so we can have a bit of a "porch".

    It's an "US style" tent:
    - capacity counted based on "sardines in can" approach
    - minimal required waterproofing - US continental weather tends to be more stable than for example UK and chance it will be raining whole week is much lower.
    - two part design with main tent and fly sheet on top. Allows removal of fly sheet for better ventilation in summer while having mesh in openings to keep bugs out.
Camping "US style" is generally much simpler than European approach with 30m^2 3-4 room tents coming with tons of extras. Best example is product portfolio comparison between Coleman US and EU. (edited)

99% of large tents have zip up bedroom compartments and a living area for storing bags etc.., they only measure the bedroom compartments to assign a number of sleepers, most 6 births are bigger than this tent.
If they did this approach most of those 6 births would be 12 births or higher but the tents never going to be used like that.
This advertising is nonsense like 10 people are all going to lie together with no space, no privacy and where are all their bags and belongings going ?
