They have these in Farnborough store too for £189.99 (ex-VAT) £227.99 (inc VAT) as per the other stores above. However, be warned there is a huge display of the original airpod pros in there for £159.99 (ex-VAT). If you ask the sales assistant that should be there then they can confirm the stock level before filling in the little slip with the item number and purchasing at the till as usual. You then collect them from the other little till at the back after the tills - for Farnborough its to the right of the cafe.

    Item # 414911 - Apple AirPods Pro 2nd Generation, MQD83ZM/A

I'm so glad I still stick with my fiver earphones from HMV. You could buy a Nintendo Switch or Xbox Series S at that price

It's a bit like having a citroen saxo vs a BMW 5 series.

No idea, why people always come to those threads and complain about prices.
Senheiser is selling their MOMENTUM True Wireless 3 for £219.99, Bose is selling their QuietComfort® Earbuds II for £279.95, Sony is selling theirs WF-1000XM4 for £199.99 and Apple here is to buy for £227 (RRP £249). If people got money to buy so called premium products, they will. No one is stopping you to buy cheaper product, like QCY 🤷🏻‍♂️

rather have my soundcores for 20 quid lol

It’s a high end product you don’t want, yet your on the thread? I have some 15 pound specials but I 100% know the difference between those and high end buds

I can confirm my local (Leicester) is selling for the same price. Picked one up on release day.

Always try the store first if you can. Always found them to be better priced. Last year, I went to the store and they said I can have the AirPods Pro (non MagSafe version) for £155 instead of getting £170 (MagSafe version) Never see these on their online store.

Any chance John Lewis will price match, as I order mine from there?

They could depending on who you get. I had a chap that knew me as I bought a few things from them and he did it without even checking the website. Just took my word for it. That was for the original Pros. (edited)

I just got the gen2 AirPods Pro and they are noticeable better than gen 1. Better noise cancellation and sound quality.
But I got the feeling that they made the noise cancellation worse on the gen1 AirPods Pro with software updates. I remembered that the noise cancellation was fantastic almost identical to the gen2 when I tried them out the first time in 2019 and there are also online posts stating the same that the noise cancelling got worse.
So hopefully this will not happen to the 2gen

It'll happen again with a software update when they want to sell you gen3

I could not adapt to the ear fit - tried all different sizes. Returned and bought a Bose noise-canceling QuietComfort and I'm very happy.

Have to make sure they are to your liking. Won’t keep it if I had issues like you did. Bose is well made too. Probably better fit as they have wingtips.

Went in today to get them and thought it would be same price as online but came out more chuffed as it was even cheaper. Got two (one for me and one for Mrs) I sold my Pro 1st gen a week ago and she sold hers to my mum. Very good upgrade indeed. Better sound and noise cancellation definitely improved.

Yes, it does. But if you like me pop into a store nearby, you can save a bit more if it’s not too far from you. Also, get some other shopping at the same time

  20. 1123's avatar

    Thanks op

Will these go cheaper at Black Friday?

I am thinking of taking mine back to apple as I tried them and are really good but apple store only give you one year warranty and John Lewis give you two. The reason I did not get them from there in the first place is because you can not take them back if used but you can at apple. Might see what apple say but it’s still lot if a store next to them give 2 years.

Costco and John Lewis take them back as long as it’s within 14 days. Same with Apple. But they both offer two years warranty. Apple offer one year like you say.
