Ready to get smashed from all who understand (but I don't). I'm guessing I have to set up a new PSN account for this to work?. Obviously my current one is a UK account.

Is there anyway to continue using my current PSN account linking it in some way?

The smash culture doesn't normally exist on Joey's deals so don't worry people are quite helpful. You can set up a Turkish account quite easily (as on post just follow the guide). Payments are a little more tricky to set up but don't take long. You will need a Crypto virtual credit card which you can get from the relevant app. Again look at the post from Joey to see which Crypto card is currently working. Once you have set it all up and can purchase games on your Turkish account just make sure in settings your Turkish account the PS4 is set to Primary or on PS5 game sharing is enabled. You can then log back into your normal UK account and play the games, earn trophies etc as normal.

The guide for setting up a foreign PSN account is right at the bottom of the help thread

Should really get big heat this deal. As it's single player only a physical purchase may make more sense.

Is the turkey SKU the same as UK? (If later I get a physical copy, will the save file work?)

I’m not 100% sure but when I played the physical copy of Ghost of Tsushima then tried it using my Turkish ps plus account I wasn’t able to access my save file

Looks like we will be able to play from 9pm tomorrow in UK (according to my countdown) - assume this is because it will be 12 midnight in Turkey. Can anyone confirm that has purchased preorders from Turkey store previously?

    swanlake
I think it is the case as I've previously ordered Dying Light 2 and Horizon Forbidden West from Turkey store and was able to play at 9pm.

I've got a Turkish account sorted and a crypto virtual card, however I can't seem to get the payment to work!
Keeps saying payment method expired when the card is in date until 2027! Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.

    Managed to sort it.
I hadn't topped the card up enough and that's why it didn't go through! Typical. Had to top up another 20 pound as I only initially topped up 38.
Thanks for highlighting yet another great deal joey!

The release date is 9 November 2022 in case anyone is wondering. Could not see it in the original post.

Thanks Joey. This might be one of the very rare occasions I buy a game on release. Last time was for RDR2 years ago. I am looking forward to this.

I bet after those review drops you are looking forward to it even more. They are saying that GOW 2018, is like a prologue to this game. Day 1 purchase for many and possibly gonna be the best game on PS5 full stop.

It's sad that taking advantage of regional pricing brings the price down to £37.85 GBP, which is the price you would be able to get brand new games in previous generations.

Thanks! Got the Deluxe PS5 for £44

It was about £43.10 but I loaded £44 based on Joey's advice to:
Use Google's exchange rate; add 3% to that; and then add £1 to round up/make sure it's enough.

(Obviously the above price is based on current rate, so make sure to calculate for yourself at the time of purchase.) (edited)

Damn I swear when it first appeared on the store it was 699 for the PS5 version. I still never got around to preordering but will be 100% getting this version. I don't intend on rushing a play-through opening week on disc just to sell it at minimal loss.

The Turkish prices were all raised by 100 TL around late August/early September.

Which made me delay getting TLOU Part 1.

What happens if there is dlc? I guess this will mainly be single player, dlc you probably would have to get from Turkish store too right?

These Turkish accounts shouldn't ever get blocked should they?
    Serpico73's avatar
    Serpico73
Any DLC is likely to be miles cheaper from Turkish PSN anyway.

Is this likely to get any cheaper closer to release? Keeping an eye on the exchange rate but not sure when to bite.
    Soulwaxuk81's avatar
    Soulwaxuk81
Can't imagine it dropping much from this price and unless there is something very drastic with the exchange rate then savings are likely to be pennies.

not sure if anyone can answer me but thought I'd ask anyway, I'm planning on splitting the cost with a friend but I was wondering whether we could both play it

for reference he's on ps5 and I'm on ps4, will I be able to share to both of these with one Turkish account?
    Neymessi010's avatar
    Neymessi010
Yes it will work. Just make sure he sets the profile as primary on ps5 and you set the profile as primary on your ps4 and then youre good to go. Also check if the version your buying is cross buy, maybe you have to buy the deluxe edition.

Which crypto account works with this, can anyone help? Also do I have to register as if I were living in turkey because the verification requirements are very strict

Initially tried to pay using Crypto.com and their virtual debit card, only managed to successfully add 200TL (around £9.80) using that method until it ceased to work. This method required both my virtual card and PSN account registration to share the same Turkish address.

The Cryptopay method doesn’t require that you add funds via the app, website or console. You simply retain your usual UK address, the one you set up the card with initially and pay as you would for any online purchase, entering your virtual card details at checkout. As long as you have enough money loaded onto your card, your payment should go through with no problems.

I purchased both GoW and Callisto this way, hope that helps.
