The way they do it is really sly. Don't actually ask you if you are happy to proceed, they give you all the information about it and then say you can cancel within 14 days and ask you to confirm your email address on the system is all correct and then say they will get the documents sent over. Never have they ever said 'is this ok?' or 'are you happy to proceed?' they did it a couple of years ago when I bought a dishwasher too!
BTW, if you signup you can get £10 off too, but there is a £3.99 delivery charge

The display outputs to another monitor from the USB-C via my dock, but the battery doesn't charge.

Which is a better deal?
The one here processor is not as good but for difference in price would stick with this one
Note sure about this one, but the SSD on the intel uses "PCIe 4.0" so that's the fastest type.

in a conundrum, this or hotukdeals.com/dea…956 ? Can’t tell them apart bar ram.
This is still available on AO’s EBay outlet btw.

I will say, for a 15.6" laptop this is much more compact than my old Dell with the same size screen. It feels more like a 14" in size - my Dell is 15" wide, just over 10.5" deep (with obviously same height screen height when upright). The Asus is 14" wide, just over 9" deep - so an inch smaller all around, achieved by having a tiny bezel around the screen and a more compact keyboard. Obviously much lighter as well. Whether it will be as robust as my 6 year old Dell, that is still going strong (albeit occasionally slowing up or failing to connect to wifi) remains to be seen. (edited)
Same price (edited)
Is £69 extra worth paying for the OLED screen and slightly faster processor?
Aspire 3 A315-58 15.6" i5-1135G7 16GB RAM 512GB SSD FHD IPS Panel for £399 at Currys
I'm having it delivered on the 28th just in case something better shows up on black Friday.
Set up for delivery on December 2nd in case I see anything better but I doubt there will be as this is a cracking deal
Also in terms of heat..does it run hotter than intel?
AMDs were known to run hotter but not sure if its changed with new tech..i haven't had AMD for a while now hence asking..experts please advise (edited)
