    These were never priced at £50-120. These like every other Matalan hard shell suitcase set have always been priced from £25-70. The discount you are actually getting is £5!

    There will have been at least some stock somewhere on sale (but probalby never actually sold) at £50 to £120 to comply with the law, although as you say most will come premarked down from (I assume China) , just like many other stores do such as Sports Direct..

    I personally recommend against any hard shell suitcase. The corners get smashed up by the luggage handlers. They don’t last nearly as long as soft shell in my experience.

    I am going to go return my hard shell and travel to another store to get the lite range. Fml should have thought about this

    IT Luggage are very good quality, we had their "world's lightest" cases and they lasted for years despite being so light and a soft shell. I've now bought another IT luggage softshell suitcase and am very happy with the quality, it rolls along on it's 8 wheels effortlessly, it's a joy to push around. (edited)
