Longines celebrates the carefree spirit of the late 1940s. After the harsh war came a time of prosperity and celebration. Elegance was back in fashion; men wore suits and women wore recently-introduced nylon stockings. People got dressed up to go out and dance to the rhythm of jazz bands. The new Longines Heritage Classic - Tuxedo creations - one with 3 hands and the other featuring a chronograph - are inspired by two historic pieces designed in the spirit of their time, modernised.

Very good deal on this watch from a big hitting swiss manufacturer. RRP is £1850 Black Friday sale plus code 'extra10' makes it £994.50. I've never seen anything from the heritage line of dress watches cheaper than this.

How often do you guys put on a tuxedo?

Most weekends, under my wetsuit, so that when I get to the bad guys private island I can blend in. No, wait, that was someone else I think.

Ordered thanks, will get my wife to give me it as a Christmas present - really like the look of this one despite the lug to lug size and the 19mm strap. Fantastic price. Looks like it was the last one unfortunately.  (edited)

I like it. Unfortunately I also liked the Nomos Orion in CH the other day too. If I get past BF with only one new watch purchase I'll be doing okay

Last year there were some very good deals on Longines watches across the board. I picked up the silver sector dial for £1200. Keep your eye out over the next few days

For those of you who picked one of these up how are you getting on with it? I deeply regret not getting one for myself now 🤦
