Finished last night, hated it for the most part, boring slog, terrible pacing and an unsatisfying ending. Felt like how I imagine Marvel's God of War to have been. Frequently unbearable dialogue and non-sensical interactions. That said I did not enjoy 2018 all that much either, but this was worse imo.

Thanks for the review. I did enjoy the first, however I do find nonsensical dialogue annoying, I didn't think the first had it.
The combat in the first was a lot of fun, would you say it's comparable/improved/worsened?

For me the main draw of the game is story / combat / visual spectacle - do you suspect I'd enjoy the second given I did the first?

Amazing game, great price too. Took me around 30 hours to finish on normal difficulty and doing a bunch of side quests. Also a lot more to do if I wanted to. Well worth the cash!
