All PS4 & PS5 Discounts 4/1/23 @ PlayStation PSN

Changed to ❺ & ④, so that the PS5 titles stand out a bit more

Red wings looks like a fun little time waster. Used to love playing wings back in the day, and although not exactly the same, a game called biplanes, which lost many an hour and caused many a fight....

This particular list is a PowerBI query against one of the better known tracker sites, pasted into Excel for formatting, then pasted into Notepad (HUKD doesn't like tables, so Notepad strips out the formatting and adds line breaks), then pasted into HUKD.

I have a few other methods, including copy-pasting entire pages directly from PSN into notepad (again, to strip out formatting), then pasting into Excel, then formatting, using some lengthy formulas, then back to Notepad & back to HUKD.
This is a bit of a pain, especially for huge sales, where there are 30-40 pages of deals

I did put a PowerBI query together to scrape the data directly from PSN, which was quite complicated and time-consuming... Then PSN put some extra Denial-of-Service protection on the site, which got me a temp IP ban, every time I ran it

Chorus scifi flying game. Worth a bash

I love the look of Solitaire Conspiracy but then saw it's PS5 only. Seems a bit of a random game to only be on one console and not the other when most indie games are on both. Hardly looks like it's too technically advanced for the PS4!

Out of this list, Ghost of Tsushima is the standout exclusive - a gorgeous ARPG, playing as a Ronin, during the mongol invasion on Japan.
God Of War is also excellent!
Bloodborne is one that most people will recommend, although a guide would be beneficial, if you are to keep your patience with the poor checkpointing.
Spider-Man: Miles Morales is great but quite short and not worth £43 imo.
Tearaway is very good, but was better on the Vita.
Detroit Become Human is an interesting story-based game but it has been cheaper.
Persona 5 is amazing but it is now available on other formats and you should probably get the Royal version if you're buying now.

I'm with you on that... PSN sales are so big that I have to get creative with the character limit on here (hence the ➃➎ indication, instead of a split list), so filtering out the shovelware would be good...

With a bit of effort, I could use Metacritic score to filter out a lot of but it would also hide hidden gems that don't have a score or have that info missing from the source data and it would hide "marmite" games that some people love but others hate.
While I can squeeze all the titles into the OP, it's probably best that I do, so that people's keyword alerts get triggered.
When the list bleeds into the 1st post (like the Jan sale), I should probably use some form of filtering.

It's not there now and it's not in my source data, so I don't know how that got in but it's gone now

Have you tried the assasins creed games or horizon zero dawn?

You can summon spirit summons which (especially if over lvld) make most boss fights pretty easy . There are a few that are hard 1 early ISH and a giant late game who will be hard and 1 optional boss but most are not too hard . Most can't be cheesed tho
