If you have a modern diesel car, it will most likely have a Diesel Particulate Filter which can become blocked and be expensive to repair. Redex DPF Cleaner lowers the temperature the soot burns at, meaning it burns away during normal driving without you having to get your engine very hot.
Redex is a leading developer of fuel additives and car fluids, trusted by drivers for decades.

  • Cleans blocked diesel particulate filters
  • Clears soot blockages fast
  • Use every 2-3 tanks or when DPF light comes on
  • Pack size: 250ML

To clean dpf ensure you drive over 90 km/h continuously and have over half fuel tank as extra fuel is injected to the filter to help burn the particles

    Best dpf cleaner is 3000 rpm+ for 30 mins+
    This is snake oil

Guys is this dpf cleaner rubbish, someone said get on the motorway 3rd gear 3000rpm for 20/30 mins every 2 weeks

Not every 2 weeks, but at least every 3-4 months if you're going to be doing it for that long. If you only drive around city on short trips then probably every 2-3 months.

I used to do it religiously every 4-6 weeks, but then stopped bothering and perhaps every 6 months or so. Not had any problems. Sometimes people do go for overkill. 10-15 minutes @ 3000+RPM Writtle be fine if you really wanna do it every month. (edited)

I’ve got a 2018 Vauxhall Insigia and had my DPF clogged/blocked for a month, even after taking on 3/4 hour journeys. Tried all “advice” however none worked, however tried this and it unclogged within a small motorway run. Tried and tested and would 100% recommend. Garages were quoting ridiculous prices which you should only pursue if you’ve tried this first (especially if it’s a fiver). What have you got to lose? (edited)

Disagree, plenty of experiments on YouTube measuring the soot before and after using this and it makes a substantial difference.

Well, that's not legal or profassional
  7. elitegame124's avatar
get rid of dpf or clean it by profassional service.

Keep getting underboost p0299 errors on my sprinter think it's the dpf although I had it cleaned

Bang some Shell V-Power in with a tin of BG244 or Archoil products. That'll sort it out

My pug 3008 had the dpf light on, even after a motorway journey. Used some of this but a different brand (probably all the same stuff) and it went off after 10 mins of driving and never came back on. That was last year and still all good

Make sure all faults on the engine ecu are reset first and glow plugs are all working plus oil levels and water levels are correct the take for a half hour drive lower gear 2.5k revs and it will regenerating will work or drive around in a lower gear country side and it will regeneration will work to and you won't have problems you can check by resetting mpg afterwards should be a lot better.

My DPF has been blocked for about 4 years and engine management light comes on intermittently. I've done about 50000 miles in that time and just put up with it.

maybe this doesnt work but ive had a light on and used this and it goes away

If you can remove it and back flush with garden hose that's the best.
