Lowest price yet on Switch. Also available for £5.54 from South African eShop.
Including Portal and Portal 2, the Companion Collection comes to Nintendo Switch with all the groundbreaking gameplay, dark humor, and exploration that earned the series hundreds of awards.

In Portal, you’ll use a highly experimental portal device to solve physical puzzles and challenges. Maneuver objects--and yourself--through space to puzzle your way through the mysterious Aperture Science Laboratories.

Return to Aperture Laboratories in Portal 2 where you’ll once again face off with the lethally inventive, power-mad A.I. named GLaDOS. Meet an expanded cast of characters as you think your way through dangerous, never-before-seen areas of the laboratories and a wider variety of portal puzzles. Plus Portal 2 also includes a co-operative game mode with local, split-screen and online multiplayer so you and a friend can think with portals.

Plays fine, 60fps, it's a really good port. I'm halfway through portal 2 no issues at all.

Remind me what special steps need taken for foreign eShop purchases... It's been a few years since I looked into it. :/

I was able to get the South African eshop one simply by going into my profile online and changing the region thanks for the heads up. Paid using barclays UK no issues (edited)

Best port on consoles. 60fps and motion controls are good. It’s 30fps on Xbox, series X even

Looks like I'm going to finally get this - Portal 2 is one the most underrated games ever

    Underrated how?

The game has a 95 Metacritic score.

It won the best game award from the Game Critics Awards, the Golden Joystick Awards and the Baftas. It won multiple other awards for its gameplay, story, music, voice performances etc. Just look at its wikipedia page, which also states the game sold over 4 million units.

Just interested in what criteria you are using to define this highly rated game as one of the most underrated games ever. (edited)

I've only ever played this on PC and know you need to make quick turns and adjustments for some of the puzzles. Do the analogue sticks handle this okay?

I played this on 360 back in the day and didn't have any problems with the sticks

Played Portal RTX recently but tempted for Portal 2.

If you've never played these games then this is an absolute must-buy!

This was a day one purchase for me, I had Portal in my Steam library since forever but never got round to playing it. On the switch this has been so much fun

I already bought it but if they released it physically I'd buy it again in a breath

If you haven't already got it, get it!

Like the original Demons Souls on the PS3 that began my love of that genre, the original Portal began my love of these type of story driven first person puzzle games that i didn't even realise I'd enjoy so much. These two are probably the greatest ever in their genre, absolute must buy for nearly every Switch owner. On a side note, slightly different style, but the Talos Principle is often on sale and I rate that right up there with Portal if anyone finds them wanting more after these two classics. (edited)

Thanks, the only game(s) I had on my wanted list, and had built up enough credit to get this for free due to other recently posted deals .

Only got back into gaming a couple of months back, but think I'm getting the hang of it, backlogue of 8 games built up already

I asked for this for Christmas but it's only available in the nintendo store, so I got a voucher for the amount. I nearly bought it then but I thought I'd bide my time.. and today is the day. Thanks!
