Is PS5 version included as a free upgrade?
    dealhard's avatar
I don’t think there is a ps5 version, but it did get a patch with a few enhancements like 60fps when played on a ps5
  3. wipe0wt2097's avatar
Is there much a difference between ps4 and ps5 version? Looking to get hold of this game but not sure on which console
    nickroll's avatar
There is no native PS5 version. The only differences are resolution and framerate:

    PS4 base - 1080p/30fps
    PS4 Pro - 1440p/30fps
    PS5 - 1440p/60fps

60fps is the biggest benefit, especially if you're used to playing games in performance mode on PS5

I wouldn't waste your time with this. If you're a fan of TLOU part 1 don't let this game tarnish the franchise for you. There's so many story line issues.

Arguably the most emotionally invested I've ever been in a video game. Well worth a playthrough.

Great price, but such a disappointing game. It looks/plays great but the pacing/story is utter garbage.
    fishmaster's avatar
I absolutely and entirely disagree, this game for me is even better than TLOU as I have described further up the thread. However I respect your experience.

Whats the chances of this being a PS+ (Free) game next month after a price drop the same as happened with Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order?
    Ed.Winchester's avatar
If the deal expires on 1st march you could wait as the next month's games usually leak about then.
  7. phillsmit3's avatar
If I get ps plus just to get this game and then cancel ps plus will I lose access to the game?
I don't really want to keep ps plus.
    JamiePendlebury's avatar
You would keep the game after cancelling ps plus

A long while out of gaming action here; could anyone please tell me if I were to purchase this using PS+ membership - can this continue to be played when I inevitably let my membership lapse.
    I'm guessing not?
    Cm_Down's avatar
Yeah because you're only using the ps+ membership for the discount you'll still own the game when it runs out

If you're a fan of the series and haven't played this yet... don't do it to yourself.
    fishmaster's avatar
Alternatively if you're a fan of story based gaming, TLOU II is the pinnacle of this genre. Ask yourself is your life today going to be the same a year from now, 5 years from now, 20 years from now? Maybe but it's doubtful, many things will happen, many you never planned for, some you hoped for and plenty of surprises along the way possibly. So what am I saying? Things change, stories change, life changes. This is art imitating life and in that respect it is a perfect rendition of the ups and downs, complexities of life and what came before doesn't always define what comes after, in fact most of the time that control is not afforded to you.

So some people may have wanted the story to follow a more comfortable narrative, this is 'out of my comfort zone gaming', but 'I don't like it' tantrum 'things should work out, it's not fair' gaming. For the rest of us maybe the last of us who appreciate that much of life isn't within our control this is the pinnacle of story based gaming and for me one of the best games ever produced. It is a hell of a ride and it in no way diminishes the brilliance of the first game. (edited)

Ignore the haters. Part 2 is a masterpiece.
  11. SwordOfEden's avatar
Be sure to play the first game which is a lot better.

The story is a let down in the second and practically divided fans for various reasons.

cracking game which i just finished which is rare for me for something to hold my my attention, runs great on a ps5 and cracking graphics . bit annoyed as this is slightly cheaper than it was last on sale but hey thats sony for you!

I here there's some golf involved?

Amazing game, best game on PS4 for me
  14. notsram's avatar
Definitely not as good as the first game, in my opinion.

Not saying for a moment that it's a bad game. Far from it. It's very good. Just nothing like as captivating as the first one.

Bargain at this price and well worth a play!
    spinach_pie's avatar
I loved part II, but part 1 was special because it was so refreshing to see such a well made game.
  15. moses019's avatar
Loved and platinumed the first one. Over 3 attempts I've got 2 hours playtime on this second one.. Just didn't enjoy it. Just an opinion.

Some folks on the PSVR subreddit have been theorising that, because it got remade for PS5, TLOU part 1 will be a surprise port for PSVR2 on launch day . It'd be bloody marvellous, but I don't want to get my hopes up that high.
    TurboDonkey's avatar
I'd be surprised. Games designed to be third-person don't easily translate to VR. Unless you play it in VR in third person, but then you've got allsorts of camera positioning issues. (edited)

I don't complete many games but totally enjoyed TLOU2. For £8.39 it's a bargain for the content

This was a really tough play, emotionally draining. Can't say I'd play it again unlike the first one.

Just completed this game two nights ago. Brilliant game but the story and some of the experiences will make you feel a little bit off

Still makes me laugh that this game gets hate. Its one ofthe best games I have ever played! Would recommend to all, and at this price it’sa steal.

I have the disc version and want to replay it but can never be bothered to put it in (yes its the definition of lazy, but i've been spoiled by digital). So may end up buying this.

I was playing this last night. I meant to go to bed early, then I checked the clock and it was 1am !!
So for me at least, it's a pretty addictive game

its crazy how quick they made a game of the tvshow...

Amazing game. Not sure why it polarised people so much, this was a worthy successor to one of the greatest games ever made (or should that be greatest stories ever told?).
  27. stingersplash's avatar
No thanks....I want these people making Uncharted 5 not this rubbish.

This was probably my favourite game on my old PS3.
    Glasshalfsmashed58's avatar
This wasn't on PS3. That was the first game.
I agree though. It was excellent. Naughty Dog are one of the best game development teams out there. Uncharted games included.
