Backdoor: PROMO - Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 32GB DDR4 3600Mhz at £160
alt backdoor: PROMO - Core i5 13400F + B760M-K + 16GB DDR4 3600Mhz at £110

The above two backdoors have been taken from the 12400F/B660/3070 deal at £999.99
so to get them to work on "3060" make the main build a 12400F/B660 in the checkout area at £735 for example if choosing the PSU upgrade too(+any other edits) and then opening one of the two boosters above, and clicking on "add to cart". "5600X->12400F -----> 13400F"

    PALICOMP 3060tI starts at £800.00 ->
    AMD VELOCITY

    # Base to base "compare"

    £680 -> £800

    A520M TUF -> B550M-K
    3060 -> 3060Ti
    500GB Samsung -> 1TB Samsung
    No O/S --> O/S

    ----> +30 12400F/B660 & +25 TX550 also available.

    ---------> backdoors for the 13th generation can also be done in the same way
    -> 5600X ------> select 12400F -------> backdoor 13400F

    Hellfire deal at 12400F/B660/3070 deal at £999.99
    which u can add the 13th gen boosters to it.

    ------

    Recap:

    3060 -> AMD ADRENALIN
    3060ti -> AMD VELOCITY
    3070 -> INTEL HELLFIRE (ALD1) & AMD ADRENALIN & AMD VELOCITY

    the 3070 is best overall on the hellfire, obviously using the AMD and using the onsite 3070 will be key for a ryzen 3070 build, but u could hop skip to 12400F/13400F on the AMD ones.

    because what u can do on the AMD ones, is not boost to the TX550 but boost to Bequiet GOLD 850W, use the 1TB nvme S70 booster, exchange the case to airpop or cougar mesh and u can come in another way, there is no saving on the velocity to hellfire, just a new way with a 850W PSU, and doing it via ADREN u can come in without a windows way.

    lots of ways guys, via 3070 on all. best to get creative on all 3 methods.

    u can even backdoor the 3070 -> 4070ti at £350 (great for the AMD ones boosted to 3070 and then doing the backdoor again)

    when I've gto more time ill go though in a new post as it does get confusing lol.

    I'm really having trouble following all of this post. Is there any way you can just screenshot the specs/final price for the 4070ti build you're talking about here? I'm trying to price compare to some prebuilt.

    Ideally I'm looking for current gent CPU and DDR5 too. (edited)

    Before messing with ram upgrades and anything else that people who buy something like this will hardly notice any difference, spend £25 and switch out that Kolink Core 600w PSU for the Corsair 550w TX550m

    Morning. Thanks for this. Your backdoor links are both for the 16gb RAM it seem

    Morning mate.

    Copy / paste gone wrong eh.

    I'll change it when I'm back on the desktop, open the 16gb and make the end url number one higher (should be the one)

    Probably goes without saying when spending this sort of money, but i'd double check your components when the PC arrives to make sure everything is in order. I bought the 12400F/3060ti deal the other week for a family member and paid for the promo Corsair 550W gold rated PSU upgrade. Instead they installed a CIT 700W bronze rated unit without telling me. When I emailed them they said the corsair PSU was not available so they used their 'nearest alternative' and have offered free extended warranty as an apology but now I'm basically stuck with this PSU that I didn't want/pay for so unsure what to do

    Doesn’t sound very promising as I’d not know the differnace

    I was thinking of building my own 5600X with an RTX 3060 12GB. Do you reckon it would be better to build your own, in terms of price? Or is buying one of these PCs posted about the same?

    As the above chap says, when ive got them to bang to the T (or as close) there really isn't much saving which is part of the mission of my post which is perfect for non-builders.

    sometimes I get self-builders who buy too (ignoring the rubbish market) due to 1) CBA 2) CBA 3) CBA 4) CBA

    but self-build, freedom of parts, design, person appeal on doing something urself, that will never be beaten.

    We're not in the market anymore it has to be prebuilt, it can be a self-build, and I've proven it doesn't at the same token have to be a self-build to save cash either.

    I know its not much difference in ££ but can I just check...why do you need to do the 12400F/B660 (+£30) to then use the backdoor? Isn't the 12400F/H610 (+£10) going to end up the same as the i5-13400 changes the motherboard anyway?

    Very Good QS.

    The deal ive knicked it from is: 12400F/B660M and ive always followed what it removes out to what it moves in.
    - simple logic.

    as they had before 5600X/A520 / 5600X/B550 deals, and they might have like 12400F/B660 on a 5600X/B550
    so ive always followed the yellow brick road.

    and thats the motto i use for all backdoors.

    however: i have noticed that the link does say: For any 12400F, and doesn't specify any board.

    they only recently put the term down, due to people trying it on with the backdoors, so for them two write it on that, well its open it somewhat up as they aint been specific.

    so in this case: 12400f/H610 should do for the 13th to work.

    but reason i do it my old way because the site doesnt normal say, and i do the backdoors to T, so they work and dont cause issues.

    Hi sarden

    im looking to find the cheapest way to run a golf simulator software called gspro they recommend 3060. Basically I haven’t got a clue and was hoping you could just send me a link to one of your pre builds so I can buy it.
    markyo007's avatar
    The cheapest way would be to play golf in real life. It won't cost you £700 +
  8. markyo007's avatar
    I would go with what Sarden has posted. Can you see this?
    PS5's avatar

    That is the same cpu / gpu combo with 1080p /2k / 4k benchmarks.
    Your ultrawide will obviously be less FPS than the 4K but more than the 2K.
    Obviously take note of the game settings (e.g. Ultra).

    Anyone know what the cheapest/best value pre built 3060ti system is right now?
    I've been looking into buying a pre-owned 3060ti to limp along in 1440p on my 12 year old rig until the right deal comes along for new pc for me but even a pre-owned looking like £320 and new on Amazon next day is £430!... Feel like I might be able to buy a cheap new rig with a 3060ti in for £700/£800?
    Any suggestions guys, I'm struggling tbh

    Buy a 2070 Super second hsnd for £250. Nearly the same performance, for a lot less wonga.

    Hey sarden

    I was looking into getting a prebuilt and i heard your the guy to go to about this kinda stuff!

    I currently have a 6 year old 1050ti intel i5 2400 8gb ram
    Very much outdated and kinda falling apart a bit, it struggles to run games on min settings and is starting to lag and show its age a bit.

    Im looking for a build that can run most games comfortably at highest settings and the most demanding games comfortably at high settings. Hopefully with some future proofing so i wouldnt have to upgrade much for a few years as i tend to not upgrade once built. I also have a 4k huawei mateview ultrawide so a build that can output everything (games, general windows) in 4k without affecting perfomance at all would be ideal. I also seek to use the system for work which surrounds software engineering and music production however my current system handles this well enough so shouldnt be a problem!

    My budget is around 700-900, 800 would be the sweet spot if possible. I would love to great deal however i would like to get it rather soon as id need a new system within the next 7-14 day so not against waiting a little bit if you smell a good deal is on the horizon 😁

    Would love to hear your recommendations!

    Can you define 4k ultrawide? An ultrawide isn't "4k" per se. reddit.com/r/b…re/

    Also, you can run games at high settings with an average spec pc but you may get 15 frames per second instead of 100.

    It would be useful to know example games and precisely which monitor you intend to use.

    Whilst waiting, Youtube will show you frame rates of various GPU's at specific resolutions if you type it in.
