About this item
  • Delightful aromas of cherry and blackberry fruits matched with a hint of spice.
  • The first thing you notice about this wine is the lovely berry and spice aromas. Following this is the wonderful flavours of spicy plum, cherry and blackberry that flow through the mouth, resulting in an approachable fruit driven wine with a smooth and mouth filling finish. It is nicely balanced with great fruit characters and a persistence of flavour.
  • Our famous Black Label Red is a very versatile wine that is especially rewarding with tomato based Italian, spicy Asian food and pizza.
  • Item volume: 4.5
  • Unit count: 4500.0
  • Alcohol content: 13.0
  • Country string: Australia
  • Packaging may vary

McGuigan Black Label Reserve Shiraz: This Shiraz has wonderful complexity, with vibrant red berry aromas, accented by a hint of toasty oak. Gentle ageing complements the fruit flavours adding subtle spice and great length. A perfect partner to spiced Moroccan lamb.

Good price. Not a fan of the wine - too sweet for my tastes.

Ooh very tempting, but we haven’t started on the last yet 🍷

Post it as a new deal Ellie, it’ll be lost on here 🤷‍♀️ (edited)

12 bottles for £44.12 for me on s&s, thanks OP. I'm by no means one of those self appointed wine experts I just like what I like and don't care where it's made or by whom or how much it costs ...but I like this stuff, very slurpable and at less than 4 quid a bottle a real bargain.

Heat added. Should go molten hot if stock holds out. (edited)

Hmmm, seem to recall red wine in moderation is good for the heart n stomach !? Not as harmful as the violent blood thirsty computer games kids watch, play, and act out in later life when they have become desensitised and ‘poisoned’ ……each to his own

£22 but gotta wait until March 11th.... Forget it then, If I'm buying cheap wine I want to get drunk now, not next month.

Curiously sweet. An acquired taste. Which her indoors has acquired. Ordered, ta.

I do wish Amazon would just send them out in the pictured box, and not repack them in their own huge boxes. (edited)

I recently ordered six bottles of a different wine and had six of those boxes delivered with one bottle in each box

This stuff is strangely sweet and takes a bit of getting used to. It's ok but not one of my favourites

Anyone here tried the Mcquigans' black fizzy red? It's brilliant.

I discovered it about 10years ago in a hamper it’s gorgeous, we always drank it at room temperature, but visited my cousin in Australia & she drank it chilled 😋 I only find it in Sainsburys & always wait for their 25% off six offer (edited)

Just to let you know the payment has been taken for my next Amazon delivery this Monday coming. And the price charged was as per the website not the bogus price in the E mail.

If we hadn’t had this conversation I’d probably have canceled delivery as I did last time I received a bogus E mail from Amazon.

Good stuff! I got my 12 bottles at the weekend...... hic.

S&s is great, always go with the price in the s&s orders section in your account and not that "review your delivery" email which will all be wrong prices if there have been any extra voucher etc.

Not allowed isn't the same as doesn't, as some do. Similar to actual laws outlawing drug dealing, doesn't stop some of them from engaging in it.
Anyway, this wine is great for cooking with. (edited)

stuck a pack on S&S, one of the reasons i love S&S, gives thinking time before commiting.

with that in mind my OH's favourite red is Merlot, will this sit well? i have no clue on wines.
  37. TBC15's avatar
Well that’s nice Amazon have just hiked my S&S delivery from £22.06 to £28. This is not the first time they have done this.

But surely you received your first order at £22.06? Further deliveries can be any price which is why I cancel after receiving my first order
