    Costcos fuel is actually going up in price now... I was paying 1.379 a few weeks ago, and now it's 1.409 whereas all of the locals are now coming down in price. They are still the cheapest near me BUT only just. Ahh well I signed up for the fuel and the savings I've made had more than paid for the yearly membership. I do find that Costco isn't really cheaper than most places so it's worth checking before paying for things if you care. (edited)

    These prices would scare a European half to death. Not because they are particularly high, more that they use the '.' As we use the ',' therefore this would read as £1,379 per litre for them. Extortionate (edited)

    We've been paying £1.37 at Haydock Costco all this year, this weekend when we went it had gone up to £1.38

    It's very regional and they look to undercut local competition, sadly at Haydock it's two fairly motorway close stations so it's more expensive. The prices are all on their app if it helps.

    Exactly I bought a Costco membership for the fuel and after thinking about the ques cancelled it. My local Asda gives petrol for 1.44 anyway

    Near the M25 Hemel Hempstead has several places is far cheaper than anywhere else. Sainsburys/Tesco/Texaco at c. 158.9 diesel 139.9 petrol. It's at least 10p at other places nearby (edited)

    Still overpriced. The true difference in wholesale prices is currently less than 5p between petrol and diesel. As usual businesses and diesel car drivers are getting kicked in the nuts. It's about time the CMA took drastic action against certain fuel retailers who are simply fuelling inflation.

    It's a bit like after the invasion of Ukraine when refineries increased their margin from $5 a barrel to $35. This had a greater increase on the cost of petrol/diesel that the actual increase in oil prices. As always in times of economic turmoil, some companies see an opportunity to increase their profits.
