    No easy cable access.

    Seems there are acres of space to run cables to any laptop or lamp put on the shelves.

    Perhaps they meant to type "Note (the) easy cable access. (edited)

    With the comment on the bracket, I believe they mean there is no notch at the back to run cables. Many desks have a hole or a cutout to feed cable through. Theres no reason you can cut one yourself if you know what you're doing.
