It's not bad, it's quite rough around the edges. Definitely want ice in there. Works ok as a mixer too.

Not a nice whisky,i had to blend it with smokey grouse to make it drinkable,not a patch on penderyn

I agree, purchased it last week and wasn't huge a fan personally. It was quite sweet for my liking. Others may enjoy it though so heat for the price

I’m sure I saw a ticket price of £14 at my local Asda in Wales. Welsh minimum unit pricing will mean it has to be higher than £11 to be fair

I think this is a decent Whisky with a splash of water. smooth and sweet. £14 in my local Asda in Swansea, can't go lower than that in Wales unfortunately. don't understand why people are saying it's not good.

I wonder if there may be some batch variation? I popped in for the distillery tour in December, and sampled it there. Can't expect miracles from a young release, but found it a bit rough and ready for my liking. Nice bunch and worth a look if you're in the vicinity. I'm sure their output can only improve over the coming years, but I decided to pass on this one.
