Anyone used this against standard mach 3 and any feedback/thoughts?

I have been using this for about 2 years now. The blades are very good. I never nick or cut myself when using. They give a close shave. I shave about 3 times a week. However, I do have a method of sharpening the blades after each use using a piece of jean material, videos on YouTube about it. This seems to keep the blades going for longer.

Not worth £50 but £15 is a bargain
. The razor alone to buy is about £30 and its excellent. My son uses one...

Thanks for posting. I have wanted to try this, but it was silly money.
At this price it's worth a punt.

I got this a few weeks ago and the blades get blunt really quickly. Definitely not worth the money.

I bought the heated Gillette labs on Amazon for £100

Oh how they laughed at me, but I loved it, it broke and I’ve n er got round to sending it back (madhouse)

I now boil a cup of water and use a disposable 3 blade Gillette razor that has lasted 6 months so far, works far better than fancy razors

    Heat all the same

Also worth considering a safety razor. Much closer shave and blades are pennies. Nice weight to the razor too making control easier.

Closest shave I’ve ever had, and much kinder to skin! Better than any cartridge ones (edited)

Is the only difference between this and others is the exfoliating bar and magnetic stand?

How many blades do you get in this set?

Damnit I got this last week for £20 off Boots. Great razor don't think I'd buy the replacements they cost a lot

This is quite often reduced to this price.
I have tried this one & I also have mach3 and fusion 5.
I'd say it's excellent when brand new and I do clean / sharpen the blade between uses.
However once used a bit it becomes no better tha the other ( much cheaper) options.
My mach3 is still the best , I hope they never discontinue the cartridges for it.
    Not voted.
