Would this be any good for a hifi amp? It has a headphone input on the front of the amp but could I use one of the other cables shown to plug it into the back of the amp for a more discreet look?

If you search on Amazon for...

    "3.5mm female to stereo rca"

    You'll find what you need

As long as the car stereo has an AUX input to plug a cable into (looks the same as a 3.5mm headphone port) then yes.

Had one of these since around 2015 and still going strong. Works much better than my Logitech one.

Got one of these for my old school sony amp so I can use bluetooth and I just plug the charger into my ps5 so it charges when I’m playing. Works well. Decent little device especially if you have old tech that still works.

There are many on Amazon around £15-20. Worth buying a decent brand so that will work in the way how it supposed to be.

I have an Amazon basics bt receiver, but that doesn't let me adjust volume from an Android device. Unsure about apple. Is there anything to indicate this would be better for that?

I have had 2 of these in the car to add Bluetooth functionality to a stereo with aux input only - charging using a USB cable plugged into the cigarette lighter. Neither lasted more than 15 months of very occasional use. When they worked, the sound quality & usability was great but I couldn't recommend something that broke so easily.

Can these be used while charging? Mine buzzes really loudly while charging but works fine otherwise. Ideally would like to leave it plugged in.
