Retailers are extending their return policies for Christmas: Full List of Shops Extending Returns Policies for Christmas
I've been looking for new RAM for last few weeks to go into my new AMD 5900X build. I've wanted something that runs at 3600 (as is reported to be optimal to run at 3600 at a 1:1 speed with this processor's Infinity Fabric). I also was interested in Dual Rank, as its always desired but also specifically with this CPU its reported to be ideal.
I cannot guarantee these are Dual Rank, but I can say from all the reviews I've read - people say they are.
One thing to be aware of is the height of these are 44.2mm, so keep that in mind if your CPU cooler / motherboard needs to be aware of RAM clearance.
Rarely available on amazon, and when it is - they aren't via prime / have long delivery estimates. Also standard price is about £90 for these over past few weeks. Ebuyer ebay had this cheaper when using MAR10 code earlier this month, but I missed it. I also prefer Box as a retailer vs ebuyer ebay account.

Above relates to 11th gen, same for 12th gen >
"What is the difference between gear 1 and gear 2 Intel 12th gen?" >
Gear 1 means CPU Memory Controller & Memory Speed are equal. Gear 2 means CPU Memory Controller operates at half the Memory Speed (such as CPU Memory Controller is at 1600MHz while Memory Speed is at 3200MHz when operating as Gear 2). Gear 2 is not available for DDR4-2933 MHz and lower speeds."
Gear mode is found in the UEFI BIOS settings under RAM Gear Mode or Gear Mode usually and it also usually set to Auto, so this allows the selection of Auto, Gear 1 or Gear 2. (edited)
runs at 3800mhz with no extra voltage and change to timings
could i use this , with them running at the lower speed , 7th gen intel
or
here (edited)
