Newest version of the GEL Pulse retails at £100 so this is a superb deal on a mid tier, neutral ASICS runner with GEL & AMPLIFOAM cushioning and in a very good colourway. Spotted these in the extra 20% off last sizes section, but all sizes are available from 6-13 including halves.

FREE DELIVERY NOTE: The website says free delivery over £50 - however, there is no delivery charge at checkout as this is automatically discounted when you are logged in as a ONE ASICS member. I've no idea why they don't advertise that it's actually free but it is, so you don't need to push your order over the £50 threshold to qualify.

EDIT: new customer + NHS discounts do not seem to be eligible with this item due to the extra discount already being applied. So £36 delivered would be the final price.

DESCRIPTION

The GEL-PULSE™ 12 running shoe offers excellent cushioning and comfort. In this version, the engineered mesh used in the upper is softer and more breathable. The fit around the heel and over the top of the foot has been softened for a better feel that helps feet stay comfortable. This not only adds to the shoe's comfort, but also gives the latest GEL-PULSE™ 12 a cleaner look. Underfoot, the AMPLIFOAM™ midsole cushioning and our rearfoot GEL™ technology cushioning system work in tandem, adding softness and helping the shoe absorb more shock in your step. With its contemporary technologies and styling, the GEL-PULSE™ 12 shoe helps you to take on whatever the day brings in comfort and style.

Pronation: Neutral

Reviews: 4.4*/5

I've had these for about 2/3 years and I paid a hell of a lot more than that, not complaining as they're fantastic!

That's a pretty good endorsement, great they've lasted so well!

10% off (new customer) doesn't work on this one as it is already giving 20% off, but the other colour red it's working on that one since there is no 20% discount on it

Be aware you may be in for a potentially long wait. Order from 2 weeks ago still marked as "processing". Customer service say delay due to high amount of orders.

In the same boat been waiting 3 weeks for my order and with prior experience of their sales traffic delays, the longer it takes the more likely you'll then find you get an OOS email anyway

Bought the same shoe last year from same website at £26.
I am EU44 and Asics 9 perfectly fits. Comfort wise it is amazing, you put your foot in a cushion but the sole isn't sturdy. It starts falling apart from tips if you are a road runner. I think i also wore them on tennis concrete courts a couple times, soles are off the shoe.
It has happened to me with ASICS before but i still buy Asics as they get you a comfort which many brands do not.

Ordered 13 days ago still not been dispatched be careful, read some reviews and seems like a lot of people never received there orders

Prob verifying the fact you used an NHS code and don't work for the NHS 😜 ... They'll ship eventually or you'll get an OOS email. On the plus side one of my orders from a few weeks back shipped today so they are getting through them. Still waiting on the 3 week old order though. So much for their envisaged 2-3 business days guidance they give initially

No way these are 100 quid full price - Pulse are a low end model - fake discount

As above, newest version of the Pulse is now £100 RRP, this model is £90 RRP I believe. Pulses are not a low end model, the low end models are Patriots, Jolts etc.

Best off putting more money towards a better running shoe.

Depends what you’re doing and what you need them for really…

few jogs around the block then I’m sure they will be perfect

    Comes to you via email.

How's the fit on these (specifically this model, not the Pulse in general)? I read they're a little narrower than some of their other shoes.

Has anyone got any experience with them for returns if they didn't fit?
    charliecroker1966's avatar
I always go with the Eu sizing with Asics as they define a 46 as a 10.5 and I am an 11 which is EU46, never had any issues but returns are straight forward and free

    Not the best running shoes.

I'm not the best runner, ordered
  22. thedon6915's avatar
Not the most plush for running . Ok to walk about in .
  23. mbens3's avatar
Got for £28 using discount given for last order not arriving for a month, being cancelled and then me complaining.
  24. BeefyMcWhatNow's avatar
These are standard runners, those are trail runners, so both are good deals for their own purpose I think
  25. jjav's avatar
Asics sizes are not accurate as per their description, according to their size chart guide, eg. UK 10.5 should be 29cm, here we have 2 asics , Blue one senoma 5 , made in Indonesia, orange one Senoma 6 made in Vietnam , inside measurement toe to heal, there is a 1cm difference. Semona 5 is 30cm semona 6 is spot on 29cm.

So sometimes it may be a case of ordering 2 sizes.

The surface that your shoes toes are against doesn't look flat, which would account for that dofference (edited)

I've had a courtesy email saying delivery will be delayed, however my Sonoma 5 that I ordered about a week ago are out for delivery today, I'm in no rush fortunately so I'm not complaining, it was nice of them to let me know in advance with this order

Ordered on the 23rd. Arrived this morning. Size 9 seems true to size. Comfy enough. I don't think I would bought these in a shop TBH.
