sorted bythis is due to the reader that valve have used on the sd.
This same card can go as fast as 130mb/s read and 120mb/s write in my laptop using a usb reader. (edited)
Do u think it worth paying almost double the price for SanDisk 512GB Extreme PRO which seems to be much faster? I am buying these for the Steam Deck.
Thanks

Not so happy!
I still have the £5 voucher for picking up from an Amazon locker pickup location so this worked out at £27.99 for me (edited)
I risked a replacement one and that worked fine.
No sD cards are never 100% reliable, you should not rely on them for permanent backups etc.
the sandisk extreme PRO Deluxe versions, are probably slightly more reliable if you really need to depend on it. professional version but 3 times the price I think! (edited)
Would this boost the Poco and speed things up?
Or is it overkill?
Like my little Poco Pal but not sure if a Memory boost really helps in day to day operation.

Put it this way, I bought a handful of the 256GB one's last Year, during Amazon Prime Day - for around £18 or so, a pop!
But, let's be real!, at this sort of 'price' for the 512GB one's, now?
Well ...
Let's just say, for the LESS than double the price 'difference', it'd be arguably daft not too?
Well, that's how I see it, anyway? (something of which appears to be a common give 'theme' up here at this particular moment in time as well?).
Etc etc etc. :-D
As I bought a few of these exact same 256GB one's last Amazon Prime Day.
ONLY to find that some x-Month's LATER (via Amazon themselves TOO, may I add?), Samsung were selling their own 'branded' EVO II 256GB memory card's, for some almost £3 LESS per one, than that of what I myself paid for each of my Amazon Samsung Select card's!!!
So ...
Hehehehehe.
And yeh, this was all last Year too,, may I add? :-D
Note to self:
Longgggggggg story short, price's sometimes have a habit of fluctuating allllllllllll over the place, or whatever whatever, basically?
Yep!, that's definately irony for you ...
Hehehehehe.
Great price, heat
so no use but good offer
If you look at the 128GB one it also shows a silly description. (edited)

Enough said ...
Hehehehehehe.
Hmm....
Those of you with a Steam Desk.
Other than upgrading it's storage capacity via memory card (256GB+ etc?).
Has anyone actually stuck ONLY to using the original 64GB internal storage capacity of which it originally came with, or whatever?
Or have the majority of you guy's opted to upgrade it's internal storage capacity beyond that of what it was originally sold to you as to begin with, etc? :-D
Thanx.
Had it 4 or so year in my surface pro but wondered if I should get a new one or just use that? Not being used anymore in my surface pro. But it is a bit old, so that might be a problem.
That said longer lifetime that the 5 or 6 surface pro 5s I have gone through with all their dead pixels...
