    L1 can be upgraded to an L2 - the mechanical components are exactly the same.

    L2 has a bridge to connect to your WiFi network and has a better app. Got the L2 a few months back and am pretty happy with it.

    Was expensive though, about £300...

    Are these good for outdoors? I need a lock for my front yard. This would be perfect but will obviously be exposed to the elements.

    I wish this came up a few weeks ago, bought one from eBay and using it with the zwave module. So far so good all working apart from the app as my account never worked and emailing the hotline bounced back saying the support email is not anymore used. Couldn't be bothered with the app after as everything currently working of the NFC chips and using zwave in my home assistant integrated.
