Hoka Arahi 6 Running Shoes Surprisingly light for a stability shoe, the Arahi returns, grounded in the same stabilizing J-Frame as its predecessor. Boasting a seemingly contradictory combination of maximal cushioning and minimal weight, it's been refined with a pull tab and mesh upper with zones of breathability.

Breathable Mesh Upper
The Arahi 6 is designed with a laser focus to fit with structured, engineered mesh at the heel for midfoot security and breathable, open mesh at the forefoot. This upper is outfitted with an intuitive pull tab for easy on-and-off and a refined collar shape that alleviates pressure on the Achilles. The Arahi 6 has an improved plush tongue to their predecessors, providing your feet with a layer of comfortable protection, and support, and assisting this is a traditional lace-up system that keeps the foot locked in and secure.

CMEVA Midsole
The Midsole is grounded in an extremely resilient, ultralight foam. This foam is constructed of a firm CMEVA cushioning for a combination of comfort and support. The CMEVA midsole offers maximum cushioning whilst maintaining a lightweight feel. Alongside this is an Ortholite sockliner which can be removed for a preferred fit and comfort, and an early-stage meta-rocker for a smoother ride and faster transition.

Durable Rubber Outsole
The running shoe contains Hoka's J-Frame technology that is designed to prevent excessive inward roll, or overpronation, without overcorrecting your gait. The J-Frame helps to guide the foot without rigid materials and delivers more durability than ever before with rubber coverage on the outsole. The rubberised foam offers stability and rebounds on top of durability. The outsole provides additional protective cushioning whilst maintaining a responsive toe-off for when you want to go faster.

Are these a good running alternative/addition for/to Gel Keyanos?

I believe so, as they are also suitable for overpronation. I bought the hokas because the kayano29s weren't reduced.

Not a fan of sports shoes returns policy but these are nice and a decent price so heat from me.

Tempted as these are meant to be great for flat feet / plantar fasciitis but £4 return is a bit steep if you're already paying £5 for delivery...

Might see if I can try it on somewhere on the weekend before buying...

My feet are flat as they come and I have the hoka arahi 5 and they are excellent. Loads of support but really light and durable with it.
