I use finger-impelled trackballs. Here's what seems to be a good value and well rated option:

Having the DPI button on the underside is a bit naff though.

The M575 doesn't have a dedicated button but you can map any of the buttons to switch between two user-set DPI modes in the Logi software, which is handy for quickly switching for more precise control. (edited)

Ok well we’ll just wind back the clock for those people who didn’t see it or need it a week ago.

I thought I was doing pretty well with my trackball then I visited mouseaccuracy.com and discovered I was way better with a bog standard mouse. But did find the other week than I can game in bed with a keyboard and trackball which was absolutely thrilling for all of 20 minutes. (edited)

Damn this is a good deal. My company paid £50 a few weeks ago. I might buy this so I don’t need to carry it to the office!

What's the thumb trackball like to use? Is it easy to adopt? I'm used to the Kensington ambidextrous ones that you control with the finger. But am after a wireless model. (edited)

I bought one years ago and it only packed up a few months ago, I wish this deal had been around then, it’s a great price, but would you post it before I buy a replacement next time, thanks.

Lovely. But not the lowest price point. Highly recommended product though

I found this much better than the far more expensive MX Ergo. I tried that to see if the 20 degree tilt made it more comfortable, but it was the opposite as the tilt made my hand slide off it.
