sorted byThin stuff like oven chips will cook in about half the time at standard fan oven temperature. But thick stuff like pies need more like 75% of fan oven time at about 20c below the advised fan oven temperature.
A probe digital thermometer will tell you how the inside is doing, and can be under £10 (though a Thermapen, from ETI on eBay, is worth the extra for speed, accuracy and robustness!)
Not knocking George stuff, but you either get things that last or you don't, it seems rather random.
I can honestly say the asda one is the better fryer at half the cost of the Tower
There so many air fryers on the market, its flooded with them. Has any media done a best of and value for money, reviews as to which is the best in each category? etc.
