Once you've setup with the link above, go to settings then subscriptions and cancel straight away, it will say you can use until expired

Didnt work with a current sub - but says code expires on June 2, 2023 so you can save the code at the end of the URL it generates and try again if the current sub is going to run out before June 2 (edited)

Awesome, thanks. Now I can watch Tetris

Watched it recently and it’s well acted and I didn’t realise everything that went on to get the rights (all be it there’s the odd bit adjusted for drama). Taron Egerton is doing some good stuff at the moment and I’d suggested catching Blackbird on Apple TV which he starts it’s in

ah damn, says only for new customers for me

    Worth a try

I’m not new and worked for me

Had a 6 month sub through Currys, Apple started charging me after 2 months, they did refund but wouldn't honour 6 month trial, no loss though not enough content that interested me and seemed like the search was more geared towards renting and purchasing which is deadly with kids in the house.

Surprisingly awful for content and the worst interface ive ever seen.

Anything worth watching other than Ted Lasso?  (edited)
    smitjz's avatar
Didnt like Ted Lasso, but Slow Horses, Blackbird, Severence and Bad Sisters all good.

I tell you where this has literally been nothing of interest for months - Netflix.

Actually quite a lot of good shows on Apple TV.

Ted Lasso, Slow Horses, Severance, Black Bird, For All Mankind, Trying, Foundation to name a few.

Agreed. I’ve watched one Netflix show in the last year (umbrella academy). Everything else seems like it’s American stand up comedy, documentaries about serial killers or shows that are cancelled after one season. Prime have overtaken Netflix for quality output imo.

Keep saying this but Apple repeatedly put out top quality content. I think folk launch Netflix and go, look at all the content, then browse for ages to find something to watch. Either that or they’re easily pleased.

Apple tv is the opposite. There’s now a reasonable amount of content, and you could pretty much pick any show on there and it’ll be great. 95% of the best tv I’ve watched over the last year has been on Apple, and what’s been the bonus is that I’ve not paid anything for it yet.

Thank you very much, my last free offer just expired and now I can finish watching Ted Lasso.

Worth a watch on Apple TV+:
    Severance
    For all mankind
    Ted Lasso
    Slow horses
    The morning show
    Foundation
    Mytic Quest

Not seen myself yet, but heared recommendations for:
    The shrink next door
    Bad sisters
    Ghosted looks interesting too
Watched couple episodes of The Reluctant traveler with Eugene Levy and I am not sure if I like it or not yet. (edited)
    Si1969's avatar
Agree with your watched list, except I couldn’t get into Mythic Quest at all.
    Not seen Foundation.

Shrinking's not bad, Black Bird is worth a watch, great acting.
Bad Sisters I persevered with but it didn’t click with me.
I’ve watched 3 episodes of Reluctant Traveller, and to be honest I do not find Eugene Levy to be entertaining or funny. It actually annoys me that they’ve sent a celebrity to fantastic places that seems ungrateful to be there, and doesn’t throw himself into anything.

Watched Tetris this week which was good. Also just started watching The Last Thing He Told Me, which looks like it’ll be great.

Watching Big Prize Door which is just a curiosity but entertaining enough. Similar with Hello Tomorrow, although I’m struggling to keep interested.

Also recommend Invasion and Servant, really enjoyed those (edited)

Just so people will watch Ted Lasso..which is still pretty much the only thing worth watching on there.
    aspectmatty's avatar
You haven't looked hard enough, there's actually plenty of good shows on there to watch that are all 7-8+ / 10.
  11. pazzza1989's avatar
Worked. Thank you. If you go straight to your settings - subscriptions you can cancel the auto renew & still access for 2 months. Saves setting a reminder or accidentally paying for it

Missed out on the free six months with Curry's as didn't use code in time I'm sure they changed the use by date as I checked before and thought I had plenty.of time This is a real bonus anyways. Thanks (edited)

It’s all fun and games now, but the t***ers will probably buy some PL/CL rights and get you paying

Just cancelled mine as only have one month left of my 6 months free trial. Sum total of things watched = 0. I've looked a few times, but literally nothing there to interest me compared to prime, netflix or just free YouTube!
  25. chorizotuna's avatar
    I recommend “Severance”.
  26. Hawkandr0's avatar
I know others have mentioned it, but make sure you give ‘Slow Horses’ a try. I loved it.

Apple TV trial, the gift that keeps on giving. Been using it for free since Dec 2020. Better quality shows than the churn from Netflix.
