My first experience of FF was the remake of 7 on PS5 (pls don't hate me) and I have been looking forward to this for a while since the first reveal!

Don't like they take payment straight away.

Is this more like 15, 13 or 12, daught it will be like 10

I haven't watched the trailer or anything but I am curious not sure if I wanna spend this much on it concidering the last few ff games (not talking about remake)

12 was okay, got bored wasnt inguaging enough, tried it on the original PS2 and the remake on PS4 2 years ago just can't get past the half point of the game where they stort of make you restart it.

13, didn't feel very final fantasy and the story was all over the place it felt very linear in regards to gameplay and what you could do, didn't play part 2 or lightnight return but I heard the last one was a massive improvement with an open world.

15 I was really excited about got it on release date watch the movie before hand and than the game, they made this bueatifull game and a world which is completely empty and void of anything interesting. Finished it before the major patch which fixed the last chapter and tried it again with royal edition but world was still very empty. (edited)

Its very much its' own thing. Totally real time combat from the DMC combat designer. Real time boss fights between the super large scale "eikons". Each one is unique and pretty epic. Its kinda like FF by way of DMC & GoW. The reports from people who've had hands on with it, say its excellent and really refreshing. I've totally been turned off by FF, especially after 15, but this has shot right up my wish list

Microsoft are being petty and getting u.s politicians to review the final fantasy xvi exclusivity deal. Phil Spencer is a petty child, just a few months back he said Nintendo and Sony were not competition and that Xbox has beaten both companies.

TGC are my go to place for games but I really don't like how they started charging for pre-releases. I love their loyalty scheme and it genuinely gives you huge savings on future purchases, but I hate that I have to pay in full well in advance.

I want FF16 but they seem to do these £10 points deals quite often now. I'll wait until a week or two before release and purchase it then.

wouldn't hold your breath buddy, they are pushing that its only possible on ps5 cause of the faster storage.

They should drop these new Final Fantasy games and concentrate on FF7 Remake part 2 & 3.

Part 1 was easily the best FF game since FFX, the rest were hugely underwhelming with FF 15 being the worse imo.

Whilst I agree with what you're saying they're completely different development teams, dropping FF16 doesn't = faster release for FF7 part 2 and 3

I preordered the collectors edition from Square Enix as this game looks so good. The State of Play footage just showed how tasty it is and im pretty excited by it.

I really wanted the collectors, was willing to go as far as £200 but £330 is mental. I can get a console at that price. put me off.

Great price, even had some points to so got it for £47.99.

Really excited for this as it looks stunning and I was encouraged by what they were saying that it's a similar length to 7 Remake, I get a bit overwhelmed where you have RPGs that take 100s of hours to complete.
