sorted byOften the power/controller goes faulty but there is nothing wrong with the drive - putting the drive in another assembly sometimes solves the problem. It certainly has done with my Mybook WD external drives.
I was surprised to sea a wd blue in an intenso drive - the WD Blue drives are usually very reliable - it could be Intenso have a special purchase of a bad batch. (edited)
